I don't have any statistics, but I reckon it's been a really long time since the aussies lost back to back series.
Probably back in 80's or early 90's.
 
Alf it is also a very long time since the aussies have fielded such poor teams, very poor batting and don't bat low down anymore and their bowling is shocking if you ask me with only bracken as a super star.

Yes everyone has to start somewhere. Also They bat up to 8 IIRC.

Remember Clarke? He came here as a "poor mans Glen Mcgrath" and he bowled us into submission. Also think of Duminey, he was also a newbie(y?) and he played a big part in helping beat the Aussies in Aus this year. You cant call this side poor, maybe inexperienced but not poor.
 
Chis i think Johnson had what i call a freak series, i doubt he will do it again.

He looked pretty poor towards the end and in the ODI's i will be interested to see how he does although i think he will never be able to do what he did again.

We need to clean up the tail now !

Because North (especially) and Johnson are not tailenders:)

edit...so stop bowling to them as if they are the tail. Duminy etc will take the occassional wicket but at best a container.
