Experience for a younger guy instead
It's just the way they operate. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Has not rained since about 11am. And there's a bit of sunlight. But I very much doubt we will get a game as it's still very wet.
Buffalo Park has lousy drainage.

Given that there's been almost non stop rain since the match was called the other night, there's little hope they'll be playing tonight.

Better change that to 14:30...

I was in Dorchester Heights at the time - if it was raining there it was probably also raining in Beacon Bay.
Strangely nothing in BB north since this morning.

Ah well 3 games abandoned I reckon. I was chatting to the guys who supply beers at the ground and they are a bit annoyed as there are no sales.

I can’t imagine any of the vendors were particularly chuffed about it.

I once sat thru a full drizzling test day, no play, but believe me... the vendors were smiling :)

How many fans would they realistically think they would pull? 1-2k?Then what is the % of those that drink?

While I'm disappointed, all this rain is very good news for the region, is it not?
Not really. Most dams are full and the rain will persist for the next 5 days or so. My garden is overgrown !!

I know PE (Gqeberha) had water restrictions, but that's 300km from East London.
