So it looks like:
Q1 = A1 (Pakistan) v B4 (West Indies)
Q2 = A2 (Sri Lanka) v B3 (England)
Q3 = A3 (Australia) v B2 (India)
Q4 = A4 (New Zealand) v B1 (South Africa)
SF1 = Q1 (Pakistan/West Indies) v Q3 (Australia/India)
SF2 = Q2 (Sri Lanka/England) v Q4 (New Zealand/South Africa)
Final: Australia v South Africa
All day/night games:
Wednesday: Pakistan v West Indies (Mirpur) - 10h30
Thursday: Australia v India (Ahmedabad) - 11h00
Friday: New Zealand v South Africa (Mirpur) - 10h30
Saturday: Sri Lanka v England (Colombo) - 11h00
Note: TBC (I was sure we play on Saturday!)
Typical windies,Pakistan should win easy if these last 2 games are anything to go by.I think we still play on Saturday.
Hmm,no idea why we playing on friday.The schedule i saw had A1 on wed,A2 on Thursday A3 friday A4 on Saturday.Why has that changed?
Schedule was changed so that host nations get to play in home countries.
The schedules for the stadiums are obviously fixed, so they juggled the teams around to suit.
India will play their remaining knock-out games in India, and SL will play in Sri Lanka.
Nope, the layout of who plays who wont change, only venues. So we will play the winner of SL & Eng in the semi. We would now be in the first semi final because that one is scheduled for Colombo (should either India or SL win a quarter, they might change the matches around if they both lose), so the 2nd semi finalists get a longer breakThat is what happened I think, except that now they also screwed that up as well. Because should we beat NZ instead of facing SL we will probably face Pakistan. With India playing against SL and that match will have to be in India.
I hope India beat the Aussies. India we can take in a final - Australia are just too good when it counts.
