:wtf:

Well I just don't want India to win. We'll never hear the end about how great they are.

I am not sure I will be supporting any team from here on out. Will be watching and enjoying any good cricket though.

I think I might be cheering for Marais Erasmus to make the final ;)

Tomorrow : Srilanka meet England at Colombo
and
South Africa meet Australia at Airport..

Cant believe guys are supporting those matchfixers

Ummm you support SA right? Who was caught for match fixing?

Do you think all these implodes are just normal? I am seriously considering the notion that we are still fixing matches because i cannot find another excuse for some of our losses.

I guess that's why we did so well in the FIFA WC then? The token white guy didn't even get a sniff in that one so get over yourself, Monde. Go take a flying fsck off at yourself while you're at it.

Reckon I support England over India and the Pakis. Those Indian supporters just get on my tits something awful. Is it in their culture not to acknowledge any good thing the opposition does or what?

Ultimately I'd have to back Sri Lanka for the grand prize now.

Hard luck for the Proteas today :(.

No point in those sheep-shaggers getting too excited - they'll make their customary semi-final appearance and go back to what they do best :p. So they might as well concede now and join us on the flight home :p.

Lets be honest there has been no team in cricket with as many players involved in match fixing as pakistan have

We're the best one day team to have never won the World Cup (or even made it to the finals for that matter)

Sigh...and here I thought we'd learnt something in the loss to England

Guess thats why Indians (in India) like the SA team then?

They do? No, I'm serious - and curious! Whenever the opposition does something good, the Indian crowd, without fail, falls deathly silent. That's why I was thinking it must be a cultural thing or I'm missing something.

In 19yrs of playing international cricket, we've played 13 tournaments with zero trophies, zero finals, and zero wins in world cup knockout matches. Kinda sad.

Lessons learnt then? Let's wait and see.

I find it strange that the entire panel of experts, coaches and others couldn't see the possibility of losing. It was all over in my view, the signs were there, the same trend of every WC...
In future never praise the team for beating a minnow team, convincingly as it may be, it means nothing. Taking 10 wickets against a minnow is expected not a strength. The India game aswell, they went out, they were not bowled out.

Apart from the closely encounted India game... What else is there to be proud of in the WC?
Its one thing to be arrogant, another to be arrogant about nothing.
Anyway go SL tomorrow!

Focus on Proteas guys and forget the Aussies. They had three great WCs and three in a row aint bad, but they didn't have the team this year. As I said in other thread, they didn't choke, they were outplayed by a better team and not Ponting, Lee et al's fault that they only had knives at a gun fight.

Let's focus on how the 'better team' (Proteas) go against a weaker team today.

mmmmm?

I think you guys should spend that energy (on hating Aussies) on being more critical of the Proteas. A lot of their flaws were 'wallpapered' over, some of the guys got 'lucky' in earlier matches and were suddenly superstars.

And if the same happened in SA, do you see South Africans at the stadium start cheering the opposition. Wake up. Sub continent has the most knowledgeable cricket crowds. Just look at the crowd for the SA-NZ quarters and the support for both teams.

How can we be critical of them dude, they do it in every comp. The aussies can say they are rebuilding and lack talent the moment where as we just do our normal choke thing :D.

JK dude i would have more respect for you if never supported 90% of the cricketing nations :D. Bwhahahaha i mean how can you ever get let down when you support 90% of the teams :D. It's like supporting man united, arsenal, chelsea, liverpool and tottenham. Fair weather supporter you are bud :D.

Its actaully ironic that we were calling Quattro a troll but he was right all along.
Be that as it may,the Proteas will have to now fully acknowledge and embrace the fact that they are indeed chokers to the point that they become self deprecating about it.
0nly then can they move on.Being in denial only adds to the suffering.
