Accused ? They weren't innocent. Call a spade a spade, "they fought for Nazi Germany and were deported"

The Tatar Legions were auxiliary units of the SS formed after the German invasion of the Soviet Union in 1941.
It included:
Crimean Tatar Legion
Volga Tatar Legion
Crimean Jaegers

Stalin ordered deportations to the east some of Soviet Muslim nationalities whose representatives had fraternized with the Germans - like Chechens, Balkars, Ingushi, Karachais, and Crimean Tartars. The first four of these nationalities - or what was left of them - were allowed to return to their homes after Stalin's death, while the Crimea Tartars - the most notoriously collaborator - could return only after the fall of the Soviet Union.

It is common practice on mybb (and during the Soviet era) to blame an entire population for the actions of some. 'Is this a spade I see before me?' .

But I can see why all were punished, cause Tartars are dangerous okes. Charles Bronson was a Tartar, and you had a death wish if you messed with him

A measure of decentralisation and autonomy could calm down the situation in Ukraine, he added.

Most of the population that was allowed to vote, or wasn't scared of coming out to vote...

Zeman said Ukraine's federalisation along the model of Germany and Switzerland would not be anything harmful.

Any link to voting irregularities or is that just more propaganda. Clearly the Crimea is full of ethnic Russians and would not need a push to vote for their homeland.

Like allowing Russian soldiers to vote? Or having over 8000 more votes than the total number of voters on the register? Or ethnic Ukrainians being forced away from polling stations? Or ethnic Tartars boycotting the vote because of fears of retribution?

But other than that, yes, there were no problems...

The Tartars are so few in number, it wouldn't make a difference.

RUSSIA WARNS USE OF FORCE COULD TIP UKRAINE INTO CIVIL WAR

Russia on Tuesday warned Kiev that any use of force in Ukraine's east, where pro-Kremlin militants have seized government buildings in several cities, could tip the country into civil war.

"We call for the immediate cessation of any military preparations, which are fraught with the risk of unleashing civil war," the Russian foreign ministry said in a statement.

UKRAINE CRISIS THREATENS GERMAN BALANCED BUDGET: SCHAEUBLE

German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble warned Tuesday that turmoil in Ukraine could threaten Berlin's bid to produce a balanced budget next year.

Schaeuble told the daily Bild that he "cannot give a guarantee" that Germany will spend no more than its revenue intake in its budget next year, as he forecast in March.

"No one knows, for example, how things will go in Ukraine," he said.

But he said "the odds are good" for a balanced budget "and we will do everything we can to make sure that happens," said Schaeuble, who has held the strings of Germany's public purse since 2009.

Germany, like much of the rest of the European Union, is heavily dependent on Russian energy and gas but has threatened to impose economic sanctions on Moscow if it further violates Ukraine's borders following its annexation of the Crimean peninsula last month.

Schaeuble is to formally present plans to parliament on Tuesday to achieve a consistently balanced budget from 2015, the first time since 1969.

Europe's top economy will run up only a small public deficit of 6.5 billion euros ($8.9 billion) in 2014 -- its smallest in 40 years -- down from 22.1 billion euros in 2013, Schaeuble announced last month.

I also dont remember them being so outspoken when Yanukovych was using force to murder or injure hundreds of people, i could be wrong though? Its hypocritical anyway, Russia is constantly using force to stop peaceful protests inside their own borders and they just annexed part of Ukraine under a military occupation.
