Italy has always had lots of players coming in from South American especially Argentina. But to call them foreign is a bit unfair. Many of them actually qualify as Italian nationals through family links. Some in fact chose to play for Italy camorenesi is an example of this.

I thought that was already implemented. It was 8 from the academy and it's for the entire squad of 25/26 for the Champions League.

i know about that rule ,however i clearly remember the eu rejecting Fifa 6+5 rule because it was illegal ,i think uefa then mentioned why not have the 6 must have had come through your ranks maybe i wrong

As stated in this thread, the top 4 in the EPL is by far more superior than the rest of the teams in the league.

Articles like these make you appreciate those clubs who train youngsters through their academies. Those youngsters who actually make it and play first team football, the club and fans can really feel proud towards them.

that is bollocks dude ,do you know how many of that so called 62 players are actually in the 1st team squad , more than half those players are under 19 which are all playing in the reserves and youth team ,and they starting to come through ,players like insua,Darby,hobbs,anderson,hamil,elzhar,spearing,nemeth have all been through the system and about to come through to 1st team,then there is the next batch of 16-17 year olds like pacheco,bruna,simon,dalle valle,amoo,pepper(next gerrard) , irwin those are all youth players playing in the reserve side

that artilcle says liverpool have a squad of 62 which in lazy journalism as that is not true ,that is proberbly all the players liverpool have on their books which are yts players aswell

Since the EPL started, 5 teams have won La liga, and 4 teams have won the EPL. Since 2001, 3 teams have won the La Liga, same number for EPL. How different is the depth in the two leagues?

They look even to me. Big gap between 2nd and third though in La Liga. That would concern me a bit.

i know what you say but i cannot agree with that article it reeks of lazy journolism how can they expect the whole squad that won the fa youth cup to progress ,that has never happened at any club in the world let alone england ,you will only have 4-5 players that make the grade in your 1st team if you lucky and that is a big IF

the others that dont make it will be sold to lower league clubs ,just like fergie has done for years and years ,it happens at all the clubs it just that rafa scouting network is massive and doesnt want any player slipping through especial young ones ,hence why he is bringing them in and rather investing money in him ,which is minimal BTW ,and that 77m wage bill doesnt even come close to Chelsea and Manure's wage bill whith chelsea's being the biggest ,that journalist is probably a Rafa hater hence why he focused on Liverpool and their so called massive wage bill
