Cryptocurrency Mining

21st June for Graphics which isn't bad 6x1070's
Gives me time to debate 580 vs 1070's

* Sorry and I'm Organizing from the suppliers.

How long did that take? Duties?

IMO unless you have secured pre-order, the chances of getting in are slim.

Aaand... antminers on backorder until September

Sorry, but the way stock is going, I don't anticipate anyone to be making any money when stock finally hits. Difficulty is going through the roof lol.

Anyone have an L3+ to sell me? :D

I have a pair arriving in August :P doubt making money will be an issue on nicehash or even prohashing, there are other not so popular scrypt coins to mine on prohashing and on nicehash you are renting out your hash power.

Sad news. I would like to buy 2, seems the price changed from yesterday too.

Is there anyone here who has a rig of 6x RX580s? I'd like an indication of their performance with stock bios, but tweaked core/mem/power settings

Can you elaborate?

Bitmain themselves sell them @ 1291 USD ( 0.443 BTC ), excluding the PSU, shipping and duties. To host the unit at Hash Nest they charge 3600 USD (unit included, stock immediate available), and once the unit becomes unsustainable you have the option to withdraw the unit and ship it home, obviously excluding the PSU, shipping and duties.

Nice, option to host it somewhere. Is the price then 3600 USD or is it additional.

It is, but they make about a 1000 units available per week per new revision, and it is already sold out. They had about ~1700 L3+ units last week, all gone.

Second 1050 in, mining Eth @ ~R53/day with Nicehash. Par for the course given the config I suppose. Will tweak the cards a tad to see if I can get it more efficient.

Still waiting for psu and gpus but got the system up in the meantime.

Here is the power draw for just motherboard and SSD on an old psu I had lying around.

Can someone tell me why people rent hash power on Nicehash?
Is it mostly for testing? Like testing your own pool? Or mining something that you can't buy online yet?
Honestly, how could it be profitable?

Actually I think it's for illegal activities. Do you have to identify yourself properly when you purchase from Nicehash? You have to hand out ID for poloniex among others...
