CPU will be pulling 65W full out, probably closer to 20W during mining
Risers I'd expect to draw 5W tops, even 1W is a lot

Try this: stop all miners and take that reading. Now you know exactly what your "base load" is and what your GPUs are pulling

I've ordered a watt meter. Should be interesting to compare my 6 AMD RX RIG power consumed using a platinum rated PSU.

It seems as if NiceHash has just gone down. Cannot browse to their main website and all my miners pointed at their pools are timing out

Standard maintenance happens every few weeks. Been 4 times the past week for 12 minutes each they are rolling out a new interface.

Well, not 6 cards no. Just one. I first want to test the waters, so to speak. When I have a feel for this new fangled mining business I might consider spending more money on GPUs for mining purposes. I regard it as an experiment that pays for a new GPU that I can game with at the end of the year, if I happen to have time to do so.

Try as I may, I cannot get Nicehash to pick up my AMD card. Anyone have any issues like this before?
I can use it when I mine outside of NH, but it would be nice to be able to add it to the pool of mining resources.
