Cryptocurrency Mining

Lol, them ninja edits :p I was about to ask how the blue blazes are you getting that return per card!

The CPU contributes relative little though, 0.0003 BTC/Day at the moment... Also bear in mind the current high USD/BTC price so when we catch the next dip...

That's pretty heavy power - is it really worth OC then?
Check this out:

6x 1070s overclocked using a 1600w PSU.

My greed is subduing my reasoning abilities :D, the one card showed about 50W when not overclocked (not downvolted, watt display by nicehash/thirdparty command screen) but falls to +- 123 solutions per second as opposed to 141 average. I don't even know what the right approach is to downvolting though.

Nice, will be purchasing soon...
"Uses 1x pcie slots and provides 4 usb ports for risers to be plugged in."

To confirm 6 GPUs on a single board plus expansion card?
Is the "DCBTC2-R01-BS300 - Biostar crypto mining expansion card." included or extra - if extra, can you link it?
And what's the cheap-ass-est CPU I can use on that board? :D

It is included with the price at R1900. Yep with this bundle you can run 6 gpu's.

I think G3900 is the cheapest skylake cpu atm.

Using a 1000watt now, the 1600 I wanted to test of the overclocking results in more money answer is no, running the the 1070 at 53% power downvolted and mem clocked works best for me.

That's good news.

Second 1050 in. Immediate profitability between $3 to $5 per day now (2x1050 + CPU). Power consumption about 60W per card (overclocked).

What is your OC settings if you don't mind me asking? Also, do you have an app or something that indicates your power draw on your cards? Or do you just look at the % utilization and do the math based on the max power draw from each card?

The output from the utility that Nicehashminer invokes to mine equihash/zcash shows the power consumption for each gpu.
I will have to check the OC settings I used when back home...

Tested the withdrawal process of my miners from pool through to bank account yesterday... Result is I'll be going out for dinner next week ;):D

Do you mind outlining the process? From which exchange, to which bank, etc. Fees, challenges, etc. Thanks.

Just remember that is not what the pc draws from the mains. That number can be deceiving.

See, this is what I have been thinking about too. So let's assume a 800w PS, and let's take the two 1050 cards as above, each running at, say, 60w. How do you go about calculating, with having some sort of equipment or thingamabob, what your consumption is going to be? Any way of seeing that via app or something? If the PS provides a maximum of 800w, then how does the varying utilization affect the power drawn from your mains?

Also bear in mind that for two 1050 cards the base system (CPU/MB/HD etc.) probably still draws more than the two cards combined, especially in my case where CPU draw is very high when CPU mining as well.

In my case I monitor the prepaid electricity display. A rough method for conventional electricity meters could be to check how fast the wheel spins with the rig turned on / off ?

Think I'll slap a UPS on here to see how it affects things. Actually should have just done this already...
