Update already!
Crysis 2 has only been out on the American continent for a few hours or so, and it’s already been issued its very first patch.

They grow up so fast, sniff.

According to a post over on the official forums, the patch fixes include:

• Server Browser shows incorrect pings - Fixed
• Some matches never initiate - Fixed
• Faster text chat - As speedy as can be
• Console re-enabled - Console has been re-activated
• Cheat detection - Now in place to ensure all users are on a level playing field
• Fix USB headset issues – Current issues have been addressed and fixed
• Fix hologram icon staying on screen after being used - Fixed
• Remove Auto Aim - This has now been completely removed due to overwhelming community feedback

The update should automatically download and install when the game launches.

Controversially, the PC version of the game has apparently shipped without DX10 or 11 support, leaving gamers stranded in 2008.
Crysis 2 comes out locally on Friday.

Yeah, I've bought so many top ups this month already, crysis 2 demo (2gb), homefront install (5gb)... getting ridiculous. But those changes should be small.

DX11 patch can be as big as they want:)
 
Picked up my game this morning... stuck at work till 5 :(
 
don't me so happy most servers don't start, so far 4 servers worked for me :(

2 of them dc me after 1 match
 
My two copies arrived this morning via courier :) But when I get home just now, gonna watch the cricket first (NZ 221 after 50) should be good....
 
Gonna buy it this weekend hopefully :D

The lack of DX 10 and 11 at release is a little daft :/

I was checking the servers whole day no one online what a wast of money. I bought this game to play oneline. I know everyone is still and work or univirsity but come on. There must be someone to play against.

I am running a Q9450, GTX280, 4gb RAM and can run the game on very high @ 74FPS

WOW.

Really enjoying it, yeah it's a linear as fsck shooter, but a great one at that.

Maxed out on my Q6600 @ 3ghz, slightly OC'd Radeon 5870 @ 1680x1050 and running smoooooth with only a little but of stuttering in some parts. Runs a crap load smoother than Crysis 1, looks a ton sexier.

Not sure how the MP works, played on a custom server for a few hours but when I leave and come back I lose all my levels gained... assuming this is because its not ranked, whats sucks is its the only server with anyone in it.

Everybody add me as a friend my nick is GreyBush_ZA

The game is sick though. DX 9 shmee X 9 this is one of the best looking games I've seen.
 
i must i played on mweb server with 8 ms, game very much enjoyable :)


no some server is screwed, mweb game servers is not ranked, and i just checked all my levels is there.

It's because the server was not ranked
