hmmm same , got a 5770 . think ill wait for a patch or two to come out before i buy this game , just now i buy it and those two sa servers are died out already:p

Almost finished it!

BRILLIANT game! - some of the most detailed graphics I've ever seen - even compared to other DX 10/11 titles.

overcame this by installing in winXP and not win 7 (got dual boot on my machine), runs like a dream, already finished once, now on second round :D

All you had to do is install the DX9 runtime components for Windows 7. No need to go back to that horrid XP

Flashed the BIOS last year, not sure if December/November. Using Afterburner for Fan Control though. 25% min fan and Maxes at 100% if temp reaches 70 Degrees. Card/Flashed fan profile gets over-ridden by driver. Afterburner also does not work if CCC installed so no CCC also.

I do still as well. But I play on UK servers. The one populated local WAGE server only has Team instant action. And I have a pet hate for anything team deathmatch related. It's super boring! The one UK server has mixed modes and at the voting screen you can choose between two maps/gamemodes. There is alot more to the game than friggen TDM. Assualt/Extraction/CTR etc are all super fun. Not to mention there is actually point to it rather than just shooting at everything that moves.
 
Running through again in HD. Still sweet :-)

Installed the latest 11.7 drivers just now, about to go again, all up on 3Dmark so thumbs!

Have tried 11.8 and I stand corrected, it does have a much smoother feel to it.

NB: I have a custom fan profile that stops card from going over 70Degrees.

Feels smoother when you start. As you go along though, you just wanna kill those aliens.
