Crystal Web DSL performance feedback thread Part 4...

So after in my support mail telling them I am not receiving the confirmation mail for the cancellation. I get a reply that I need to complete the form. It is stated that that was already done.

Their support staff are really starting to piss me off.
 
So everyone that cancelled did you get a email confirmation? Support is now telling me I should only get one after the 19th....

Yes. I had to cancel twice. Couple of days ago, and I didn't realise it didn't work the first time. Cancelled again yesterday, and received an email. Then another one once you confirm cancellation.

I have tried 3 times. Not getting the confirmation email.

And support is too useless to help. There is going to be hell if they haven't cancelled after the 19th as the chat has claimed...
 
Did you not get anything from Podio and CW saying it's been submitted blah blah blah?

No I got nothing. Last I got was message on screen saying I would get a confirmation mail within minutes.

When pointing this out to the support tech he still insisted I will only get this mail posted 19th...
 
I've done their cancellation form. Fact it that they will not see money from me end of this month whether they process it or not.
 
Two hours it's been dead, thought I could get off the backup and browse a while on what I've paid for but nope, still in it's moer
 
Everything started out fine this evening. TeamSpeak was working, battlefield was working. Then got kick again from battlefield and everything else stopped work. Back backup account smooth sailing.
 
Yeah throughput is dying here at 2AM.... Sites failing to load correctly or at all.

NNTP is dead. At least I can still download through Blizzard Launcher. Gotta get the most amount of data downloaded for my shmeckles this last month. I know this uncapped unshaped account I have is just a high data cap account, and I knew at what usage it would become unsustainable for CW to run it. I am not a douche, so I don't feel the need to download the hell out of the account. All I want is for my gaming to be as lag free as possible. They messed with that in a big way. Now that I have matured in my usage of the internet (download what I intend to consume), I know I can just hit up a decent gig amount account from Vox and keep my experience lag free.
 
My cancellation form went in yesterday. Enough is enough. Got an email to confirm and after confirming (click link) I received the mail from podio a couple of minutes later to confirm cancellation has been sent to the billing department.
 
Only just found this thread now - so sad to see I'm not the only one wondering wtf has happened to CW.
Been with them for more than 3 years, and they've been awesome - but somewhere things have gone horribly wrong.

My adsl line is with them too, going to be a pain to move - I can see that.

somewhere = some d00s thinks it's funny to DDOS crystalweb until they lose all their customers (which is what is busy happening)

almost on cue - game for 30mins all good and bam, hello 30% packet loss ..... so literally an unusable account that's been paid for, scummy
