Telkom Billing has to open a ticket with Telkom's technical support to lift the DSL portion's suspension, yes. But that usually is a few mins to an hour (inter-department tickets get addressed pretty quickly there)Spoke to billing again just now and according to the agent they can't just release the line as the system will automatically resuspend it. So they have to request it to be released via some other method which can take some time. But yes no ETA from CW and not much success from Telkom just yet.

My line has also been suspended for over a week. CW couldn't give me an eta on when it will be resolved.
I have finally cancelled and am now looking for a new ISP.
Did anyone had any success going to Telkom to unsuspend their line and is now back online?

They told me yeterday they can only get it into the holding pool once they have access to openserve's systems and also they can only move it to holding pool at month end, that is if they have access by then.
On the bright side, i spoke this morning to a telkom agent via chat on their website who said "she is going to escalate it and have suspension lifted" as it's still suspended on one of their systems. This was after an agent called us two days ago saying he'd lift suspension, but didnt.
10 minutes after the chat i got an SMS from telkom saying they will credit the account with an applicable credit due to being disconnected.
I'd move to Afrihost any day, their service was great and the whole customer control panel was also great, something CW hasn't quite mastered yet. Just with Afrihost I get loads of lag in my main game I play on Android called NEBULOUS...
CW has no lag in that game and also CW has given me my full speed for downloads the entire day unlike other ISPs where they slow you down during business hours.
Stupid question. So if i get a backup account, this will not help as the problem is that the telkom line is suspended?
