Crystal Web DSL performance feedback thread Part 4...

Getting very slow speeds tonight. In Southern Subs, CPT

Getting 1/4 of my line speed. 4mbs here

EDIT: Tried my axxess account, getting max line speed there...

Speeds are crap tonight. Getting 350KB/s on a torrent and barely 3MB/s for some http downloads. I can see using the Ubiquiti gateway that total bandwidth on the home network is less than half the line speed.

I can usually stream 720p on Twitch when it's available at 30fps. Nothing higher works without excessive buffering. And that's with a 100Mbps fibre connection. I can't hate on CW though, as I can't get other ISPs to stream Twitch any better. There's a lot of bitterness on the internet about the state of Twitch's servers.

Check if you can stream perfectly using another ISP (preferably one that doesn't use IS).

I can on another ISP, but CW has been terrible lately.

7 second buffer size (that is 7 seconds of the stream already downloaded)
Out of a minute running, 11 frames skipped which is 0,003% in terms of "loss"
5.9Mbs of stream bandwidth

NOT on Crystal Web. Will test on CW when I can afford to piss off my household.
 
Is anyone else getting poor performance on Valve CS:GO servers? Either my ping is above 100ms, or its 35ms but I get rubber banding. Doesn't happen when I use a WA trial account.
 
Seacom fixed and ping down a whole 10ms but packet loss makes a return ..... can't win with CW lately. Smooth as silk on Mweb and AH, that's just wrong :(
 
IS internet seems to be having issues today/tonight been alternating between my Crystalweb & Webafrica account & the same problem persists running trace route points towards IS address(196.38.75.82) on my end having high latency. Its almost as if the internet is bursting. On a test Afrihost account its way better. hopefully this gets resolved soon.

You're both in PE, probably a regional issue?
