New low. Steam download being shaped to 160-180kb\s on 10mb line at this time. Also a download for an nvidia driver running the same speed. Disgusting service.

Edit:

Was a weird issue on my pc. Downloading on other devices runs full speed and restarting mine fixed it. :wtf:

Yesterday I had bad ping in HotS for an hour, same time than an AH user complained, moved over to League and a perfect 164ms latency.
Steam download was going at 1MB/s

FYI

Followed up with them regarding the usage mails, got a reply:

Hi

We stopped Usage emails this week because of the maintenance we are doing
on our side.

Kind Regards
CW Support

Anyone know about the so-called maintenance?

Yea, started about a week back. Not sure about the exact day, but think somebody said it will last about two weeks.

Edit:
Started the 19th and will last till the 2nd of June.

Previous Updates Scheduled Maintenance of the DSL Infrastructure is currently taking place with upgrades and replacement of hardware at network locations in Western Cape, Gauteng, and Kwa-Zulu Natal. This has no impact on FTTH services over non-Telkom lines. May 19, 13:25 SAST

I am being told Xtreme (Extreme) capped accounts are shaped? Was this always the case?

iirc it was always in the fine print but was never implemented previously... I have not experienced it yet.

Alright - a bit odd because I remember everyone mentioning it as unshaped. I guess it's fine considering the unmetered hours. Cannot wait until the upgrades are done so I can start using this account again.

Anyone had any issues with their e-mail notifications? Haven't gotten one since the 22nd, but the issue may be connected to my account downgrade.

My e-mail notifications have also stopped, but in the client portal I have a graph at the Yearly Usage:

Before there was just an error message there.

Why dont you guys just move go another SP

I did - but /every/ ISP that runs on Openserve goes through phases of:
1. Great
2. Why am I being shaped?
3. Time to cancel and move.
4. "we're doing upgrades soz"

Good thing these phases don't happen at the same time...

i have no idea of how much data i have used now.. urgh... Its the one thing i love about Afrihost, is Clientzone
