Crystal Web DSL performance feedback thread Part 4...

yeah, seems between 10:30 - 11:00am ish, it gets throttled right down and 'comes right' after 5pm. Not cool.
 
Now it's dead in the water, my backup account works but my CW account is dead. Can't open any sites.
 
Internet basically unusable atm. Youtube buffeting for minutes at a time? Anyone else having issues? (JHB)
 
My internet is disconnecting and reconnecting at random. Changing up and down speed everytime.

Think telscum is busted.
 
internet dead in the water...axxess account running smoothly...wtf is going on lately
 
According to CW, it is a telkom issue affecting Gauteng but only Internet Solutions.
 
telkom fixed the cable break between germiston and kempton park.. ipc restored.
 
Is anyone using the CW news server? Are you having problems? I can't connect to port 443 or 563 even though they are open and forwarded. Port 119 connects but it will start downloading for a few seconds and then drop to 0.

I tested with my Axxess account using the afrihost news server and am not getting the issue there.

I am unable to use news servers. I do not have a decent indexer to get the stuff anymore.

Looks like NextGenNews that provided the actual news server for CW has gone poof...website down, facebook account gone too. So now what.
 
@Rohan,

It seems as the IS server is also broken. I downloaded a 390MB file and it only had one block per thread.

yeah, it's also been bad the whole day, atm IS seems to be running again though.
 
20kbps and 120kbps now that the premium seems to be gone, I may finally be over this account :(
