Effective the 1st of Jan 2018, NGN has been sold due to pressure from bigger players in the market. It looks like the purchaser pulled the plug on the brand.
As to what happened to NGN, I am unfortunately bound by non-disclosure. All I can say, is with Astraweb now being owned by HighWinds, Usenet is pretty much becoming one big fat monopoly. Hybrid providers (like NGN was), is seen as the sworn enemy.
As to the rest of the comments that's been made and posted... You're welcome to form your own opinions I suppose. I am not going to be drawn into a public debate as to what did and did not happen. The simple fact is, I can not talk about it.
Been struggling lately as well, but not sure if it's my ADSL or CW account. I should actually just sit down and test, but since they are busy with fibre in our area, I am not really in the mood for this testing.
May I ask what your backup account is?Just canceled my CW, been having too much problems lately. My backup account is fast where CW is agonizingly slow with just about everything.
May I ask what your backup account is?
Can thankfully say I've as yet not had issues on my CW account. And this is on a 20mb VDSL account. Hope it stays this way. Such a pity we don't get reps responding here anymore.
Once fibre gets lit here in 3 months I'll moving over to CISP as well. Cie La Vie CW.
ThxAxxess, but I am getting a VOX 300gb capped account.
Anyone having issues in the cape area? Specifically slow international access
CW is either fooked again , or something is happening ... can hardly get onto things at the moment
