Crystal Web DSL performance feedback thread Part 4...

Torrents is not working on the new CW network.

My gaming is fine and the other downloads is OK.....
 
International appears to be flaky - terrible lag to Blizzard (Hearthstone) and international Speedtest giving errors)

Going to switch to old login to see if things improve.

Edit: Boom! back to normal on my old login.

Man, the Evonet backbone sure is flaky

Yep, I've had an average of 15% packet loss over the past two hours. Browsing is slow and playing games is impossible. Way to go, Crystal Web!
 
I also had some lag spike on BF4 tonight. I am also considering moving, the game play is not so smooth anymore.
 
Not just Blizzard; same with ESO or PoE, ping is over 1k on evo and back to normal on old login...
 
I see that today international traffic is even more ****ed than it was last night. Averaging 20% packet loss now, and many overseas networks (such as Hetzner Germany) are completely unreachable.

So... What's a decent ISP these days?
 
Yeah I hopped onto live chat now and can barely send messages on their own live chat system lol.

Oh and I got the "I will escalate to Management" response again. They have no clue their network is not right.
 
Yeah, the new Evonet network is garbage. Netflix and Amazon Prime are unusable. Fine on my test Afrihost account.
 
Old network has better latency for me, but I can't get over 1.2 Mbps on my 40 Mbps VDSL :/
 
On the new log in details: international is dead, local mostly useless.

Honestly never had issues on the older network.
