The standings for worst ISP's Telkom>Crystal Web>Mweb. Crystal Web's ToS is in breach of the CPA, they can be sued out the wazoo.

How so? I thought they had Mr Lawyer man on their team...?
Got an email mentioning the CW people moving on to better things (Shaun, Paul, etc) and how evonet is fully taking over, exciting times, blah blah blah ...... 1 more day and they're history so why they're sending emails like that to me I dunno.
Same. Have asked them a few times.I left end of May (my last day of service anyway), and I'm still getting these mails. I forwarded the mail to their support to ask how to remove myself.
In the end mweb lasted longer with CW being the middle finger to it. It seems that creating and running a ISP isn't so easy as to trying to stick it to mweb; we can safely shelf this one with Solmatrix and OpenWeb.So from what I can see, EvoNet (which is under completely new management) acquired all of Crystal Web's clients (unless I am mistaken and they acquired the business itself) and is now under the management of:
Andisile Bam (director) - ex Johnson Controls IT admin
Thandile Fikeni (unofficial director) - ex EOH
Tim Germond (director) - lawyer
Kristian Le Gonidec (director) - a ghost
And Shaun Kaplan and co have moved out completely... even out of the telecoms industry in whole... what a joke
Guess this ends the Shaun Kaplan era of Crystal Web. Very closely resembles Open Web.
Please cite the relevant section of the CPA...

I can't believe people are still with crystalweb :wtf:
Well, it's Evonet now.
Still works fine for me.
Sad to see that DJs venture into establishing an ISP didn't work out for him - the early days were filled with such promise.
I wonder if they ever managed to pin down who was attacking them like that.
Ah well, RIP CW, good times were had.
Probably combination of
1. Disgruntled customer
2. Script kiddies
3. Direct competition (ISP/Other)
4. Asian interest
