Crystal Web DSL performance feedback thread Part 4...

So I'm not home to verify if my account with Telkom has been suspended or not but your did happen to me was month. Internet stopped working, went to CW Support who confirmed that my line was suspended, phoned Telkom and gave them grief because my account is fully paid both with ISP and them and they activated the account again.

Towards the end of September we get these emails requesting us to pay early before the first of the month or face having problems. I paid before the start of the new month.

My suspicion is that CW has not paid OpenServe for the bandwidth and we have been left out in the cold. If that is the case then leaving would be an extremely good idea and it supports what was posted before.

So how does this holding pool work? I'm thinking of moving my line to OpenServe and getting an uncapped account with Telkom. What's the most cost effective way to do the move?

When does your billing cycle run with Telkom? Ie the voice portion?

The one thing that has also driven me over the edge now, is that if you know you have such a big problem, then you should be working your ass off right through the weekend. These guys have just packed up, gone home, and said **** it, we will wait for Monday again to try

Yup, service suspended. CW has definitely run out of money. Exact same thing happened last month so time to jump from the dining ship. Not keen to pay them pro-rata but f'ck it this is unacceptable...

So let me get this right, everyone who moved their line to CW has had their line suspended (due to non payment from Evo)? Get RPM to look into it, it's more than 1 of you and it's fraud, don't just let it go guys

I have written an email if my intent to do such to CW so let's see what comes of that email. Should I get no favorable response I will definitely try to pursue it further.

I have tried pinging mybb on Twitter for a response but they, as always, do not respond. I hope @rpm is interested in pursuing this sort of story...

I just dont have the energy to persue this matter. Today is day number 3 for me with my line having been suspended. I have paid them lots of money, so i will request to get a refund of sorts, and also to have my line moved to the holding pool.

So how does this work? You call/email them saying that you are cancelling and that you want the line moved back to OpenServe/Telkom, line then goes into limbo (holding pool), you can still use your account with CW, when you get confirmation that your line is in holding pool sign up with different ISP and use their credentials? Haven't done this in forever...

I just emailed them now on [email protected] and requested my line be moved to the holding pool. I got the usual automated reply back.

Once my new ISP picks up the line, then ill cancel with them. Dont want to cancel before that, and then im stuck with no internet.

Wonder how many CW customers we are here, and of us... are we all cancelling with them?
