Crystal web is a flippen joke

Paul sure can waffle, but he's doing us a favour, representing himself as himself on the forum, and providing the info he does. I've no doubt that his intention is to provide us (the customers, of which I am one) a good internet experience, not waste his time apologising to aggressive ****s on the internet.

Paul's biggest problem is his use of 'big words', when he responds here it sounds like he swallowed the Oxford as well as few legal dictionaries. This could come across to people as him trying to act superior & talking down to others or just plain being an intellectual snob. You need to tailor your communication style to your audience.

I have no problem with his posts but I can see how they could become tiresome to read, considered waffling etc. I do however believe his & CW's intentions are good & honourable but speaka da engrish :p

Perhap Paul should consider doing some drawings instead to communicate point. ;-)

So each day the network capacity is looked at and mapped against various things to preserve network quality but if 20k people join it is impossible for even the largest operator in SA to provision the additional capacity on any individual link. In some cases we've been able to readily keep things perfectly in tandem but on the Cape Town side of things infrastructure beyond our control has also come up as necessary.

The normal South African attitude of passing the buck I see .;) As a client I really couldn't care less whether its in your control or not you picked those suppliers so you need to come up with a solution. Ask your clients just to wait is not acceptable for a service provider...

Their contact page (found via the sitemap) gives a 404 http://crystalweb.co.za/contact-us.php

But I did find 0875509006 on MyBB - http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthr...ead-Part-2?p=14178363&viewfull=1#post14178363

I am impressed by your detective skills Mr Holmes. However, that number is an answering service with a pre-programmed message saying they'll call you back.Which will never happen.I tried at 08:30 about 4 times in the space of an hour.No luck

EDIT: We should start a charity drive to get them into 21 century communications.I will donate a pre-rica'd sim which i will obtain from our generous pakistani cellphone overlords.Other brahs can donate any old nokia 3310/5110/6310 laying around at home. We're not fussy.Just a hello/goodbye jobby.R5 airtime will also be appreciated to activate the sim.

I meant an apology for the OP, this paul dude is just rude and pompous. Ever heard the saying "the customer is always right"?, he chooses to be defensive and attack customers. Nothing constructive transpired from his feedback/presence.

No, customer is king. Never always right. Huge difference.

Maybe I should have elaborated. The manner in which he communicates with customers, aka his source of income comes of as condescending and somewhat pretentious.

Edit : I see this quite often. Some people in senior level positions forget how to engage other people who dont report to them or work with me. The dynamic he has with customers should be different to the dynamic with staff members(hope that makes sense).

Just my opinion from personal experience.

There should be an individual trained in customer service responding to mybb queries. You cannot be rude to customers period. Potential customers(i. e people like me) read these forums.
