I wasn't talking about useage, etc. It seems from these thousands of posts that some people appear to be using Crystal Web as their ISP. I was wondering about how you sign up, the website still says "Coming soon". I entered an email but heard nothing further

I think you mail sales@crystalweb.co.za with what type of account you are looking for, they get back to you with pricing (received my e-mail within 10 minutes from them) and you sign up. Also there is a live support chat thing bottom right of their page, also works.

Hello,

Quick question:

Will I be able to play League of Legends with a 4mb Uncapped account? It looks like some people are having problems with international servers.

If that piece of equipment is anything like a Mikrotik RB, I can only say good luck getting it to work properly in a week. I've had mine for 2 years and still changing stuff here and there, adding stuff etc... lol

Odds are it's more complicated but odds are also that they have people configuring the thing that actually know what they're doing :p

Lol I know what I'm doing, if your intention was a jab at me. If you know mikrotik you would know that with every OS update something new comes out that you can fiddle with to make your own network better.

What if my intention was not a jab at you and simply me assuming that you don't set up Mikrotik routers for a living (or what if I wasn't thinking of you at all?) , unlike hopefully whoever is responsible for the installation and configuration of this hardware? :p
Sheesh, talk about being self centered ;)

Hmmm. My CW connection just slowed to a crawl :(
My international have been slow for most of the afternoon. Between 90 and 260kB/s on Microsoft updates and YouTube clips I'm that busy downloading. I did get my normal 410 - 432kB/s a bit earlier this morning.

Not sure if it's related in any way, but mweb at work has also been very slow since after 1pm.

I have had a great experience with gaming tbh.
My family streams Hulu in the lounge while I play CS:GO.
My pings sit around 50ms at the most on local servers.

Steam downloads at full speed all day as well.

No one is having issues with local servers. Those of us having issues are having issues with stable international latencies for gaming.

So what is the status here? Want to know if I can switch back to my CW account.

Work is still in progress. No specific ETAs just yet but we'll post them as soon as we know. It's an incredibly complex setup that requires considerable configuration and testing.

But the good news is that the hardware has arrived, and is being configured, and testing is starting soon now. There are no delays to report, which is so far even better news.
