Just tried another public event, as I got close to the action, latency once again shot up. I screenshotted it at 4000ms. Tracert is once again fine.

1 of 2 things is happening: Heavy shaping / unprioritized gaming traffic or international link is wonky.

International is wonky atm.

International Speedtest
Downloaded 20.0 megabytes in 7:25 seconds. (45.95 KB/s)

Local Speedtest
Downloaded 15.6 megabytes in 20 seconds. (772.72 KB/s)

According to Zertop my line is fine.

This is what it's supposed to look like if things are fine:

Zertop's "Is it my Line" Results
Basic Report:
Your average ping was 21ms
Your maximum ping was 23ms

Looking at your average ping, your line seems to be running perfectly :)
It seems that your maximum ping is also good. If there are any issues, they most probably lie with your ISP :-(

Detailed Report
Ping results for last hop before account switches to ISP's hardware (Hop 2 on Tracert)

Ah my bad. Thought it was fixed over the weekend.

I even did the same public event earlier with no problems!

More extensive pricing will be released with the launch - still quite a few boxes to check before we are go for launch.

With respect to EFTs, currently EFT is our payment system [debit orders and credit cards are one of the things that need to work properly before we are go for launch] and on launch we will be retaining EFT as a means of payment for invoicing. Payment in advance will always be welcome - although there might be some confirming of things by email to avoid confusion on our end.

There is a massive gap in the market with respect to accepting EFTs and it is one which we intend to fill

Thanks for the info, along with detail supplied concerning EFT's.

Personally glad to read it's already an entrenched method of payment at CW.

Although it creates its own admin (arguably not much more than D/orders + C/cards if done correctly) it should be a huge positive for you guys, in offering it.

Simply have a note on your invoices / statements in bold requesting that eg. the Account No. is used as the reference for the "beneficiary reference" (or similar), and that the account holder at least sends an e-mail notification confirming payment has been made.

I always send confirmation of EFT payments to Co's, along with a PDF copy of the payment receipt - it helps me keep track of not only what's been paid, but long-term proof if ever queried by the Co. itself (and that has happened on the odd occasion, even after I've sent it once already, but not yet from an ISP).

Look forward to seeing the rates ..

How do you see what you've used?
Daily usage emails can be sent to the customer, what is need is an email in the system to send logs to. If you go onto live chat I can set it up for and give you your current usage

The daily default usage mails are not helping your cause imo....I'm already being flooded with a million mails per day. The very last thing I need is more info on something that I supposedly ***don't*** need to monitor (usage on an uncapped account)...

It was cute the first 2 days...but serious...*DAILY* usage mails???

It should be an optional thing - there is one case where a customer is receiving data eroneously that we can't change. Drop a chat or email and I'll be able to change the setting for you.

How does one get this service going? I sent an email last week but heard nothing so far. Is it only for testers at the moment?
