Thus, in summary i am saying its not unethical in my opinion for him to use both accounts as he is paying for an account which lacks some international connectivity and is being supplemented by you with another account to cover this lack.

This is not correct.

I am unsure why you are so defensive and why you are nit picking. I am not making any form statement in terms of your current situation with International connectivity. I was merely contributing to the conversation on ethics and my view on that.

I think to resolve this as easily and as painlessly as possible. Give us your statement on the following :
a) Does the customers CW account get disabled once you give the customer a supplementary account?
b) If A is false, would it be unethical to use both accounts using half bridge. Thus, saving the customer the pain of switching accounts on the router when you want to run tests.

So, is the contingency in place yet?

Because it just caused me to miss out on a public event kill because I had to mess around with switching to a backup free gig.

Getting constant disconnections at the moment.

I see them in your logs. Your port at the exchange is initiating the disconnection. 6 times since 11am. Best bet is to power-cycle the router for 10 minutes for now, and if it continues let us know, but the disconnection request is happening as a result of the exchange initiating it, and is reporting as an exchange port error. Best bet for now is to power cycle the router to try to flush the routing data for now and see if it persists.

I'm simply correcting the misinterpretation that we'd be unethical in some way to adopt the previous month's contingency if we did. I appreciate the contribution, but if it results in confusion for our customers in any way relating to use of multiple accounts at the same time or references to unethical behaviour then I do feel compelled to correct the post. Please don't take it as an attack at all - I'm simply correcting you from an official perspective, is all. :)

The question became a little bigger thereafter but the bottom line is that if we issue a second account it won't be subjected to the same international issues and is a perfectly working account in and of itself. :)

Does anyone have issues streaming Twitch @ Medium/High on the normal CW account? (Not the IS temp one)

Yes. I am also from Cape Town. Medium was fine yesterday but the moment I switched to high it would lag. Before it was just laggy all the time.

Seems like there are more unhappy users than when I checked in last time?

I think most people are just being a bit more vocal now since the hardware has been installed and some people (like myself) are still having issues. I'm personally not too annoyed but will keep on providing feedback until my issues are resolved.

No, new accounts and the email have not gone out yet.

We are testing the new system to determine whether it's suitable at the moment.

While I appreciate that everyone is quite impatient to have this resolved and I did state that I will send an email today, we're still doing the final bit of testing to ensure that it's the best solution for our customers.

We will let everyone know once the contingency is in place and immediately thereafter we will begin the process to move all those affected.
