Lol, true, but thankfully I do have a life outside of gaming, and recently went out with someone for a bit. I just know that I like being single and that marriage ain't for me. I prefer to do my own thing far too much.

Thought the same....till I took love to the knee.

Sh*t can change very fast. But each to his own.

Speed seems to be good for me this morning.
The PS3 download that I started on the 17th at 12:00 died sometime during the night with a download error.
I resumed the download on 9GB and it is moving at good speed for the first time since I started the download.

My Supersport stream is buffering a bit, but it is to expected with the PS3 download running.
I haven't received the email yet, but doubt if I will make use of it, if the current standard continues.

Wow.

So I have been quite happy watching Youtube, doing steam updates etc when I decided to download a file via HTTP. What the fark. 10 meg line, 10 meg account, getting speeds on the download anywhere between 15kpbs and 75kbps.

Did I miss something in the previous pages?
 
Well for the first time this month i am able to run a 4 connection IDM download as it averages between 350KB and 440KB. Still not the best as a solid 440KB is desired, but it is at least useable now.

Twitch unfortunately still suffers on my end. It runs for about 30 seconds before buffering for 15 seconds.

At least this is an improvement and a step in the right direction.
 
Maybe they should poach a networking engineer from Mweb/AH/anybody else with excessive shaping and tell him/her to configure the shaper to do the exact opposite :whistle:

isn't the exact opposite of mweb/AH/everybody else just turning it off :P

Could the CW webmaster please allow the inclusion of a plus sign in email addresses for the newsletter? I like using the [email protected] format to keep track of things.

The form is currently rejecting the plus sign.

I'll put a query for the web developer for the final site but it's unlikely to be incorporated until launch. Catch live support and ask them to make the changes for you.
 
We've tested all of today and tonight and we agree that certain speeds are unacceptable. It really breaks our hearts as we wanted everything to be top-notch for you guys. We really did. Our fault entirely.

If you still have issues, contact support and we'll move you over to a different backbone, at no cost to you, with a brand new account from mid-month. Please contact us ASAP as we run a 24 hour support desk and can have you on the new backbone within minutes.

We are so sorry about this, everyone. Really we are. We thought we had the best solution but it's taking far too long to implement and it's not right for us to project our problems over to you.

We will send out an email to everyone affected later tomorrow, but those with issues (especially in Gauteng) please contact us and we'll move you over to a new backbone immediately. We're sorry we couldn't fix the problem in time. We truly are, and we're moving everyone who has an issue to the new backbone because we sincerely care about you having a connection that works. Right now we accept that that the Crystal Web accounts are not working as advertised, so let our support team know and we'll move you over.

Got my mail at 06h17 this morning. When I tried the account, its not working. replied to the mail at 16h09 when I arrived home, but not receiving any feedback.

Started a Live Chat with Support. So lets see what happens next.
