I received my bill today and in the email it states: "You can view and pay your bill online" and it gives a link. When I click the link I see my invoice, but I can't work out how to pay. If I click "Outstanding bills" it prompts you to subscribe to Xero with a free 30 day trial. Do we have to subscribe to Xero in order to pay online?

No, you don't need to subscribe. Because the payment gateway is tied to our website (the data has to be filled from your customer profile) and the website launch has been delayed because of us fixing the last remaining issues, we can't offer credit card payments just yet. The only method is EFT for now, and we apologise about this as it's a clumsy payment method.

I investigated temporary payment methods by credit card and debit card but we were not happy with the security thereof and as such have not implemented it. It will have to be tied with the launch of our customer portal, which btw is pretty much completed already, but not ready for actual launch just yet.

I will be reaching out to a few customers in the next few days who've offered to help test though, as it's pretty much ready.

I didn't get this memo and signed up. Cue Xero trial period updates and marketing emails. meh.

Perhaps the "outstanding bills" link can be removed from the invoice page to avoid others making the same mistake? Or maybe everyone else is not as dof as me, and you don't need to do anything.

We're trying to amend the shaper at the moment, but what happens is that if there is shaping applied (and there is some applied on large downloads for now but will be amended soon) and the download is initiated from before 12am then it continues to apply the shaping. It's best to schedule them to fire off after midnight as a temp way to resolve this. Apologies. This is going to be amended very soon hopefully as the new policies on the new bandwidth are implemented.

No biggie, just thought I mention it.

Didn't most customers prefer EFT in the past? Swear I saw it somewhere, either way I hope I can continue to pay you via EFT in the future, otherwise debit order it is.

Apologies for that lets see what we can do, while you are at it you can have a look at Xero as an accounting package ... Maybe start your own business and sign up for some more Internet products .... :)

Some do, and you can continue to do so, but there is a significant delay in processing EFTs which poses issues for us and possibly for customers.

I'm as dof as you. I also signed up, but no problem, they didn't ask for credit card details.

Hi guys, I haven't tried playing League of Legends since joining CW. Has anyone been playing on the EU-west servers and are the pings playable at this stage?

Thnk you

Hey man,

I play LoL on EUW almost every day and all I can say is sort of. CW pings start off great in the morning (about 165) and then climb up as the day progresses. It then hits about 200 and settles there, but unfortunately there was still some packet loss when I tried to play last week Friday.

I haven't tested it this week, but that's coz my exchange has been borked due to congestion, so I get in what LoL I can on my Afrihost account before 5. After 5.30 my exchange speeds tend to go to hell. Also, I am fairly competitive so 170 ping to 200 ping is actually quite a difference.

That's showing usage for the month, sent on a daily basis. The online indicator only indicates your last online IP. Our support agents are able to send you usage logs that will show all connected sessions to put your mind at rest if you'd like.

Just wanted to make sure, I'm sure no one else is using this account and tbh you guys recycling them while not in use isn't a big deal. Only think left to solve for me if the mysterious Telkom-Doesn't-Like-Migrating-Lines fiasco. Waiting on feedback from support.

Well our accounts are locked to a single number by default in any case, and we're not recycling any accounts - it makes no sense for us to do so to be honest. But we've given our customers all of the tools to be able to check this themselves once the support portal is launched. For now a support agent can send it manually to you if need be.

Your Telkom issue has already been escalated and is being addressed. I just overheard a conversation specifically addressing your migration, so we'll definitely have some feedback for you soon. :)
