MAN I am in trouble, with the RB you can remote, dial second connection and quickly disable the first connection. I was not fast enough. :(

Leana:
Jy dalk bewus van enige internet probleme?
Netflix buffer baie en xbmc werk nie

LOL
Tell her to stop watching TV all day and ask her why the house is so dusty (especially if it's not). You need to take charge man!

Please set up a live youtube stream before doing this

Well... much appreciate the unshaped account, it's good to go! But unfortunately, my area's phone lines decided to stop working. My ADSL is syncing at a pathetic
800Kbps instead of 4Mbps (if it manages to sync at all!), and my phone line is dead...

Yay Telkom.

3 more days until the issue is fixed. I'm gonna demand them a 5 day refund for this nonsense. Happy days...

I read last week that Telkom are busy with upgrades all over the country. I wonder if this could be part of the problem some of us are experiencing?

Since yesterday my normally trusted 4 Mbps went belly-up. It seemed to coincide the same time as I went over to the 41.xxx. range, so I thought nothing of it.
Today my ping tests yielded ugly figures, ending up as "F" graded for local and international, instead of "A" for local and "B" for international.

Nothing changed with the new login details.

CW support told me that it seemed it was an Exchange, Port or line fault.
I tested with my back up accounts and got the same results.
Logged a fault with Telkom and now, a few hours later, my account is running like a bullet train.

I haven't received any feedback from Telkom, so I assume a techy will only look at it tomorrow.
So could it be that Telkom are working somewhere and logged of at 17:00 and now it is working very, very well?

I'm not sure, it started on Monday evening, I logged a fault with them last night, haven't heard a peep from them. Checked with neighbours around the area,
the school, everyone's out. And apparently someone was informed it'd take ~5 days for Telkom to fix. I really do hope it's an upgrade...

At least I can get internet (albeit, very, very slow).

New account is blazing, going to catch up on these downloads over the next few nights..

Agreed.

Down to almost no packet loss and fewer hops to international as well. Netflix also cleared up much faster than usual. Might actually use the news server tonight. :D

Doing my part to keep downloads at night, let's hope none of us break the internet.
