New site is looking awesome CW.
Can't wait for the portal functionality to be up and running.

Oh and BTW, thanks for another weekend of flawless interwebs

Looks like it's resolved? Blops is working now...

EDIT:
Spoke to soon, dead again. I'll call it a night, switched back to WebAfrica till tomorrow.

Did you send us the tests we spoke about so we can look at identifying the problem for you?

No, you must just fix it damnit...! :p

Think my comment about your site got missed in the chaos..

You might want to check your CSS on the front page, the two top menu items "Crystal Web Home" and "Fibre Broadband" have a different background colour to the rest of the top bar until you hover over them.... is that intentional or just a mistake?

Not just for you - pretty much all ISPs - but why not put the line rental as well?

If n00bs go on and see R799.00, they think they pay only the R799.00

The whole unshaped download until you hit 100 gigs thing, do you count data that is consumed between midnight and 7AM before the "cap" is hit, or is that night time data zero-rated?

So there is no purpose in me limiting my downloads to that time until I'm "capped"?

That seems a bit dumb. Please can you implement that.

I dont. It is easy for me to tell my Pi only to fetch things at those times, but if the data still counts towards my shaping cap then what is the point before I'm shaped?

Making the product sustainable and continue is the point...

To help maintain a sustainable isp.

Which is exactly why I should be incentivised to move my download schedule to periods of low strain on their servers. Isn't that the whole reason they unshape the shaped accounts at those times?

Why do you need an incentive to do the right thing?

I agree with Agentfrf, it makes no sense scheduling downloading from 12am-7am if it's still going to count towards your 100GB's, even streaming counts towards it, really doesn't matter what you do cause those 100GB's will be used in a matter of a week if you have a 8Mbps line...Why even tell the guys that they 100GB's of unshaped data and then it counts towards your use between 12am and 7am also, makes no sense

Seriously?

Your incentive to do so is to make the ISP sustainable. No other ISP gives you Unshaped data as part of an uncapped offering.

Yes, so?

If you want uncapped unshaped then pay up.

But wouldn't it be better to encourage scheduling downloads at off peak times?

It would be, without a doubt...

But zero rating that time period would push the costs of the account up by quite a chunk.... and would you pay the extra money?
