Logged in then saw the links.

I am slow since Sunday evening after coming back from the States. Have to somehow catch up on sleep, 1hr since yesterday does not do it for me.:erm:

I made the same mistake this morning, my auto pilot was buggered lol.

Where do I post the Netalyzr results? Support?

All in the support portal message - it walks you through every step of the process. ;)

You can send them to support, or hop on live chat and send them to an agent.

Thanks. I am very eager to send the results, but maybe I should wait a day or two; or when I had more sleep. I am not thinking straight at this stage and Murphy is a "Bliksem."

@Crystal Web, would it be worth me doing the Netalyzr test and sending the results to support?
I'm thinking along the lines of maybe it might contain something that will help resolve the Twitch issue.

Crystal Web representative please read the PM I sent you

I've replied to your PM, 50-saint. :)

There's really only one way to find out. :D

Alright. Will do.

To be honest, you should run through the entire support phase and send them everything at the same time - all the data the portal says you should. So we get data from different tests at the same time.

Ok, will do the whole lot again.
Will do it sometime tomorrow.

I am pretty new to twitch but just wanted to say you should check a few streams before looking for faults on your side. Some of these guys streams are buggy if their upload speed is low.

Do it when you experience a problem, then run the tests carefully following all instructions (like from a cable and not wireless etc). You'd be surprised at how often wireless is the real culprit - it can even look like exchange congestion on tracerts, which is why we don't employ tracerts in our business any longer when we noticed that.

I even watched it happen live. I intentionally interfered with the wireless signal intermittently, and watched how it made tracerts show no problems on the wireless hop and then suddenly 100ms+ latency on the 4th, 5th, and other hops. The exchange also showed us as faulty on occasion. Plugged the cable in and all was well - no hassles at all. This is why we're now employing more advanced diagnostics from first line support already now - it may take a little longer, but it's the right way to deal with issues and troubleshoot to identify the root-cause of problems.

Absolutely. And not just upload speed on their connection - they upload from all corners of the earth and via different routes and on to different servers. It's then aggregated and delivered over distribution methods not quite optimal to streaming live data in our opinion.

But it doesn't mean we aren't persevering to identify the problems if they're on our side though.

just used that tool :

:(

You must talk to support though and send them the results. We can't use mybroadband as first line support I'm afraid, and you also DO NOT want to be submitting this data for the world to see. Also, these tests MUST be accompanied by the pathpings required as the first part of the support phase so we can get a clear picture.

was on the livechat with support at the time. What is confidential re the data? (for my education)

Your router appears to be responding to ICMP packet requests and your external IP was showing - could pose a security risk on your side, and then all of your internal networking data is sent along as well.

With it not being an app we developed, we have no control over what data may or may not change as well. Always be safe - wear a digital condom. :D

I took a look at your chat with the agent - you are having some serious line faults there by the looks of things.
