How is the international situation looking today?
Hulu streamed fine last night but alternate streaming sources did not perform well so I had to switch to AH capped account.

I'm also very interested in the news server details. Will it be a free (but schitty) one like most of the ISPs have or will it be a proper one with full line speed etc.?

Not sure if this applies to news servers also, but back in my day when I used ccproxy to share my internet it cached even youtube videos and downloads. Might work for the local nzb server also? Instead of 200 people downloading Big Bang Theory, rather cache the first download, and if someone else by chance downloads the same file as the first guy did it does not have to go the international route again.

Ok so the outage will explain why I had latency issues last night, funny enough it seems like Afrihost must also be suffereing since i had the same issues with my AH account.

Still testing and trying to resolve. International speeds are much better at the moment, but it's a temporary measure. Problems still may arise. We're working on a permanent solution/resolution...

What do they offer that others dont? Cant really see much information from the website.

I think they know that, and are catering towards the needs/wants of US, the myBB cognoscenti
