We will be "testing" this streaming tomorrow using one of the paid services. So we'll be "monitoring" it ourselves...

Are these IS temp accounts the same as IS's standard uncap packages. Because if they are, then that explains the 2mb being slow. I have a 2mb uncap account with connection, and yeah, sometimes its great, other times it sucks even in the evening.
 
impatiently waiting for launch/high capped pricing, in the meantime so so tempted to jump onto the crytalweb uncapped 10mb option...ugg...need to resist the temptation :D

We are currently testing the accounts on our end, and there appears to be an even bigger issue with the migration accounts, but only on the 2Mb speeds. It is a very odd situation that we are investigating. We are not yet transferring any 2Mb customers to these new profiles as we are simply not happy with their performance, and we know you won't be either. Currently the Crystal Clear 2Mb accounts are operating far better than the temporary accounts.

All other customers will receive their new details shortly from our support team.

In order to ensure that we can offer the highest quality of service we have had to keep a limit on pre-launch accounts and keep an eye on the situation
 
Dude, I can understand completely! I just can't wait to join you guys! The service seems great! Even on my side, at 6pm on a Friday, it's been good, even if the news is bad for now. Keep up the good work!
 
Still only 20% speed on NNTP from tweak (old style account)
 
Eish hope these IS accounts aren't costing you guys to much. Only reason i did not want one. Can imagine a start-up ISP having all the overheads plus having to pay for 200 additional ISP accounts, wont be to nice.
 
Just a quick tip for those 3rd person Gamers, Defiance is free to play now. Just logged on to the gaming server and just saw online players for miles, way better than it was. Now I don't have to fight 1 against 5 any more lol.

Please don't worry about the costs. That's for us to handle, and you are more than welcome to request a change to the IS backone accounts before Sunday and we will facilitate it for you.

We have a goal - to be the best ISP in South Africa within 24 months, and we've made financial and operational provision to be so. Part of that provision means forecasting and budgeting for issues, as any good business should do.

So let us worry about the financials, and you focus on finding Game of Thrones in 3D Ultra HD. No customer should ever have the burden of worrying about the longevity of their supplier, and let me assure you that you don't need to, although the gesture is so wholeheartedly appreciated from our side, and we love that you're as committed to our business as we are!

Yes, there is some incredible pressure on the pipe at the moment from our side due to the problems, but by the end of this month it will be no more. I apologise for this, but all of your Orange Is The New Black episodes should be down shortly. Same for Through The Wormhole (yay, it's back).

It's for these reasons that we've chosen to migrate our customers on a temporary basis should they choose. We hope that this goes to show our agility, and commitment to our customers who choose to make the best connection...
