Current website looks amazeballs. Any ETA on the official launch?

Thanks. The designers and developers are working on something pretty incredible in the website department. Well, we think so at least. :D

I posted a little earlier about the ETA. Official launch will coincide with the release of our website and customer portal.

Nice, then I'll sign up ASAP as soon as one of your agents gets back to me. Will you be introducing an ADSL line rental in the future?

We already offer bundled accounts, and these accounts are all discounted as well to make them more attractive. Reason for this isn't only to secure more revenue, but also because we have some sophisticated diagnostics tools available to us if your line is with us, and it means that we can offer you even better support. And I mean some very cool diagnostics! We're even contemplating allowing our more tech-savvy customers to run these tests themselves - combined with our own custom developed exchange congestion tool, you'll be able to diagnose a fault in a matter of a minute for yourself, and also identify whether it's your line or Crystal Web acting up.

And me, please... will jog your memory via PM. :)

Yes, please do. Or just drop a mail to [email protected] quickly and one of the agents will sort you out.

Often quicker than PM as I'm only checking mybroadband as and when I have a chance.

Although not an official support channel per say, I will set aside some time each day to both update the mybroadband threads with news and answer support queries, but we've introduced the live chat feature with agents to ensure speedy resolution, and we've got enough agents on board (90% in the office at all times) to accommodate this.

I've introduced an internal SLA here which should result in customer support queries being dealt with very quickly, otherwise it is escalated to their managers automatically.

Note that based on the response today and the limited number of new accounts we'll be issuing, it is advisable to get the sales queries in asap.

Also remember that 24 hour support (sales included) only comes online officially on 1 July. Right now I let the guys go at 4pm each day so management handle support and sales queries after hours but only when we have a chance to. So far we've had nothing but great feedback about our support, but please do be patient after hours. At least until 1 July.

Another question do you take EFT or is it only credit cards?

To anyone who has the normal account or the corporate account.

How is the Twitch streaming? (Both during the day and night)

Meh just the thought to move my ADSL from AH, get double billed by Telkom and to move it to CW lol. What will put you guys even further over the top is if you can offer a unotelly like DNS service for R30 a month. Or dare I say it, CW DNS being able to access Netflix without a issue. :D

We can offer DynDNS, and there's something very cool happening on the Tv streaming front in SA (according to whispers in the hallway here ;) )

But please go to our website and propose the idea. That way others can vote on it, and we'll be able to make a call on whether or not we add such a service.

This applies to any ideas anyone has.

Wish I added this part on, R30 a month extra and your std CW DNS can access Hulu etc, more like a service activated your side instead of us changing DNS settings. Can Guarantee you that combined with the News server, you will have AH's IPC issues before the end of this year. :P

The sort of work required to put together a service where one already exists with the economies of scale on their size may make this less viable, especially when I consider the "rumours" and confirmed "rumblings" in the SA television streaming business. Nice idea though, so please submit it.
