Crystal Web (NEW ISP) ADSL Feedback

@Taranis - If they were a company who had officially launched then I would agree with you. But they haven't. They have approached a select few mybb users (not sure who else) and offered their services until they officially launch. Those select few were specifically asked not to divulge any info publically, as they (Crystal Web) were not ready to launch and make things public. You then went and made it public. Not cool. Especially considering they (crystal web) are more than willing to answer any questions via email to CUSTOMERS who have signed up. By the way, are you a client currently? Did they approach you and offer their services? Did they ask you to keep things quiet?
They got angry that I asked two questions and questioned my motives. I also created this thread, which they also took exception to. If they hadn't launched, or were unprepared, then why even mention their business on a public forum? How odd.

Erm..they didn't..they did it via email. Are you currently a customer?

They didn't mention their business on the forum. They contacted people via PM and email.

How did you hear about them? Are you a client?

I really feel terrible for the Crystal Web team. They wanted to keep things quiet until launch and somehow it got out and now this thread exists. I feel rather guilty having asked them for an account.

DJ, Paul and the Crystal Web team: Fsck whatever anyone else thinks. Don't feed the trolls and keep doing what your doing.

I've made my point and they have now responded.
No they were talking here on the forum openly. Irrelevant.

Let's put this to bed and see some more open questions & feedback about Crystal Web.

For the record, I was approached privately, via PM and I honoured Shaun's request to keep this quiet. But as usual some stupid fool had to open his mouth. I kept it quiet from my end.

Compared to some other ISPs who have faced greater adversity, they are doing pretty well I think. But as usual, MyBB attracts the trolls, to come and pose their 2c about how Shaun got all uppity with them. Unfortunately I find that very hard to believe, having got to know the man behind the wheel I hardly think he the sort.

I dont believe every ISP should join ISPA. If you can look after your own legal battles you should. Ive intentionally excluded one of my companies from ISPA so we dont have to respond to ISPA takedown notices. We would prefer a judge decided on if something should be taken down or not. A couple of times over the last decade I have been working at an ISP and an unfair take down notice appeared. This can cause unnecessary disruption to services until the issue has been resolved.

I don't get how they stay calm though. When looking at the crap AfriMan goes through sometimes, wow.

They remind themselves on a daily basis in front of the mirror that the crap they have to deal with is not personal, just business.

True enough, also replying via a forum gives a guy a chance to read over your reply and say eish, I can't send that lol.

Well at least you answered the bloody question, replete with explanation!

He is not the only director.

Anywho, let's leave it there.

Blatant trolling in an ISP feedback thread shouldn't be allowed. Mybb needs to take a tougher stance against it.

Hi all, thanks for the continued support. Great to see.

Let's get back to the ISP feedback side of things now. ;)

Any chance of some hotspot access included in our accounts ? . Traveling soon, and that would be useful to me.

@CW any update on capped accounts, last time I was informed that capped pricing was under review.

It's not part of our immediate rollout plan unfortunately. Immediate, at least.

Still under review on our end, but we're getting there. Soon, is all I can realistically say for now.

Just a thanks to Shaun & the guys for sorting out my account, I'm up & running better than before.
Keep on trucking guys!
