HAHA noooo, it works so nice on other accounts, but was hoping no one said anything. It came in handy once or twice when I needed something urgently via nzb. :)

When using CW nntp even on my WA capped account earlier this month was bad. I could only get 30KB/s spiking to 45 every 2 min.

Just logged on to Wildstar and I have a whopping 600ms inside personal housing area. No response about being a trial participant yet.

Ah well, back to free gig account number 3 >.<

Edit: This is not a CW issue this time. I have guildmates on various ISP's all lagging like crazy as well. Something definitely gone wrong on the interwebz!

My apologies - it seems like this is countrywide. I have guildmates on other ISPs suffering similar lag issues. Perhaps SEACOM doing it's stuff?

my 4mb account perform very well. downloads are great. browsing slow sometimes. but in general I'm happy.

at present browsing almost dead.

Does anyone have issues streaming Twitch @ Medium/High on the normal CW account? (Not the IS temp one)

Yes. I am also from Cape Town. Medium was fine yesterday but the moment I switched to high it would lag. Before it was just laggy all the time.

Just another update. Had no issues streaming Twitch on High on the weekend.

Was trying to watch The Dota Internationals last night on Twitch, but had to turn the quality down as it was buffering way to much, also noticed that I had quite a lot of packet loss, then again could have been related to countrywide issue if that were the case.

I have logged a ticket with support to be part of the temporary solution, can you perhaps please explain what the temporary solution would be once you have finalised it?

Thought I'd just add my 2c:

Everything to me seems fine....only thing I can see is that my average ping have increases by about 100ms but since I don't do only gaming right now I don't really notice it. Just streaming atm so ja...still a happy chappy. Will consider upgrading my line and have CW manage it once you officially launch.

I really hope these early issues and unexpected costs are not hurting you guys to badly! We need you to stick around!

Are you in CPT Pap? I am wondering if there are discrepancies between performance depending on where you live.

+1. That's why I'm indecisive at the moment on whether to sign up for the temporary fix. I have issues, but are they that crucial that CW must fork out more cash to keep me happy? I don't know...

Would only be a issue if you are a heavy gamer I suppose. Only issue for me is Google services taking ages to load, that's about it.

CW is there a way besides live chat that I can see the IP of my connection at home? I don't like dns services and prefer to log into my home services via ip.

Only an issue if you game Internationally really.
I don't notice an issue on local servers.

I got to say, my general DL speeds have been great... this is largely through Steam though.

I only suffer a little when it comes to my MMO's. This seems to be tied to a "time of day" thing though.
All works 'ok' during the morning and early afternoon, but around 6pm, I need to change to my capped account, as I then start seeing large increases in latency.

Edit: I am happy with my connection and choice to move to CW. Yes I have problems with international gaming, but the difference I've experienced in communication from CW leaves me with far greater hope than I've had with any of the other ISP's I've been with.

So, in closing, GL guys :)

Same here...I am not signing up for the temp fix because I honestly feel like I would be costing them unnecessarily. My services are all running at satisfactory level. I really do applaud the level of service CW has given me.

Ditto... I'm quite happy. Downloads are great. Sometimes slow browsing. No need for temp fix either...

Signed up for temp fix because of gaming. Otherwise, account makes me happy.

Just a general question, I game on my Mtn Uncapped. Pings are great in Defiance, but only with Mtn Uncapped some of the enemies are invisible and shoots the crap out of me. Just curious to hear opinions as to why that will happen? lol.
