Hehe, yeah I have a valid reason for disliking them though, 7 Windows pc's flawless, 1 Macbook pro that loses internet connection every day, whole system crashes on OS update and thunderbird has a half a Bible full of issues daily, so I'm just not hating it for no reason. :)

I found macbooks tend not to like certain wireless channels btw. Especially the Air - can't use double-digit channels. Had to play with the wireless channels on numerous routers to get the Air to play nice on the net.

And confirmed the fix is in and being tested on a few accounts at the moment as well (not customer accounts). So everything is coming together nicely. Things are going to move fast from here on out.

Wish I could pop a bottle of Champaign with you guys, but congrats on things coming together so well. Going to be the best ISP, I just feel it. :)
 
Whatever you guys are doing is somehow affecting me... My internet keeps dying then coming back, then dying again. Modem lights are all good. Has to be the account.

Yes, there will be some disruption at the moment as the fix rolls in. Apologies about this. Some customers will only be affected on the international side while others may experience intermittent connectivity.
 
it would be interesting to know how much data the Crystalwebbers downloaded in July??? with so many complaining about international speeds...
 
on a new 10mbps account, downloading at 45kb/s. Not impressed sofar.

Will give it a day or so to see how she goes, maby the crows are on the line?

PS. I will say this tho....... the free usenet server is flippin amazing. Got some stuff that was missing on tweaknews, newsgroupdirect & astraweb. Keep that up!

Pretty snazzy my side.. 720p streams without any buffering at all on youtube, torrents are blazing fast.
 
Local is fine, its international that's all buggered.
