Just quick feedback with new account. Everything seems better. There is still some things that can improve. NNTP goes at about 600KBps. Gaming is still lagging a bit (Final Fantasy 14) but is almost playable. Hopefully this will be fixed tomorrow.
 
For one or other reason my nntp starts around 70KB/s, average around 100KB/s but will not go beyond 120KB/s.

Then drops to 30KB/s for the last few MB's.

HAHAHAHA spot on. I must build a doll house for my daughter still and got the look from the 2 of them with me slacking.
 
Ok my streaming just went to poo at about 11:30pm. Can this be because the internet is being downloaded by multiple people?

EDIT:

I see my steam download runs at line speed. Any chance you guys can tweak sites like Vodlocker.com and nowvideo.sx on your side to stream better? 2 samples below.

Looking better this morning. Youtube 7mbps stream running like a dream :)

I have asked this multiple times previously.
 
There were a few issues last night with connections timing out, that seems to have vanished this morning which makes me a happy little camper.

Everything seems to be ticking over very nicely now...

To be fair we have also answered it multiple times too, and the bottom line is that even if we wanted to it's technically not feasible. Ask these services to distribute via a proper CDN service, to host on proper hardware, to purchase proper hosting capacity, to scale efficiently, and to stop changing host IPs and it becomes more feasible. They're just a VPS file sharing site, or often a search engine linking to every dodgy VPS out there. These are not businesses that invest in their own infrastructure like a Netflix or Hulu, who we can and happily do prioritise. These "other" services have to come to the party as well if they want to be treated properly on an ISP's network.

Even Samsung do some odd things on their TVs for example which are quite stupid. More often than not they're trying to pull streams from other services and distribute it on their own distribution nodes, rather than simply streaming it from the actual service and infrastructure intended. I see their point, but it's proven to be quite unstable at times on their part. Then our support staff are shouted at. :D
 
Hey DJ... here is a possible funny one for this morning. At around 430am i tried to communicate wholeheartedly with a support consultant [right term :p] and i asked my question [request for pricing to my email] and i only minimised the browser for a min or two only to be greeted by a [Rate your.....] to which i gave whoever was there a 10 but i couldn't see a response because i don't know if anyone responded :D ...and no email received.

I think someone needs a kick up the butt :p.

Will send a request later though. Happy to see things are getting better :)
