Your Afrihost uses a different IP than CW. My bet is if you ask CW to renew your IP the problem will be gone.
Well, my local speeds are fine on CW. Just my international that has gone from it's usual 180-200 ms to 280-300 ms. Only thing that might be different is that I've already used 100 unshaped gigs and now I'm on their 2nd/3rd tier system.
