Crystal Web slashes ADSL prices

Had to look at the headline twice. Couldn't believe my eyes.

Nice to see mybb are now putting the consumer first.

so no price cuts on the home uncapped?

You may have noticed that home premium uncapped has been operating nearly entirely unshaped for about 2 and a half months now. We're busy running some numbers on that part...;)

Seems CW are still not advertising their 60GB Home Capped account @ R195

... still 60GB peak but over 1TB off peak now (going by nightly usage report) :)

That has also changed, but is not an official product available yet. We increased this to 70GB peak capped for you...;)

What's the difference between Premium Uncapped and Business Uncapped?

Is there a Crystal Web rep on MyBB?

I want to move to them from my current ISP, but getting hold of them seems to be a problem

One is a home product and one is a business product, and we don't try to blur the lines by selling a business product to home users. So business products are intended for business use and are setup accordingly on the backend for such use, while home products are setup for home use. What we've done is align the two products a bit in terms of pricing to ensure that home users are not encouraged to use business products and business users are not encouraged to use home products...

I am the CEO of Crystal Web and I also have reps on MyBB.

However you can get hold of us on our website by live chat, by email on the sales desk, or via phone on the site.

Live chat is always recommended and is available on our website (bottom right of every page)...

So you're saying different protocols have different priorities on each product?

Yes, business has priority for business protocols and home products have priority for things like streaming, gaming, etc.

Same applies to all ISPs...
