Crystal Web slashes ADSL prices

Yes, business has priority for business protocols and home products have priority for things like streaming, gaming, etc.

Same applies to all ISPs...

Not really. Some ISPs Business products are just less shaped than their home products. effectively Home Premium with a Business sticker on it.

I am the CEO of Crystal Web and I also have reps on MyBB.

However you can get hold of us on our website by live chat, by email on the sales desk, or via phone on the site.

Thanks DJ.

I am at work currently so the live chat is a no no...
Will try the phoning option.

Can I ask the Live Chat guys for the unofficial 60GB Home Capped account?

There's a post just above here in this regard and in our feedback thread as well explaining home uncapped...

"Just above here" - in this thread? Or where? The thread just above this one?

Anyway, saw on the site now prices are exactly the same for home premium uncapped as before.

Yes. That's nonsense. That's not a business account, and should never be marketed as such in my honest opinion. Our business accounts are 100% configured and setup for business use and are now the same price as home products, which in my rather biased opinion is a bit of a game-changer...

You may have noticed that home premium uncapped has been operating nearly entirely unshaped for about 2 and a half months now. We're busy running some numbers on that part...;)

In here...:)

Not yet. They're not at liberty to sell it yet. We're doing some cool stuff on the low cap products, and our pricing has dropped on higher caps to such an extent that it's accessible on lower end requirements too...

no, i didn't notice cause i only set up my big downloads to run between midnight and 6am. :D

we do streaming quite a bit, but the premium promotes streaming.

Not ranting. Just pointing out it isn't true for Home Uncapped. So relax.

While there is no price decrease (yet) the premium home has been operating unshaped uncapped. The equivalent account on our network for such performance if I look at 10Mbps for example is R1599 per month, vs the R799 for the premium account...:)

i got the 4M uncapped package, i use it 99% for streaming and it really is great, dont have an issue except for when its a telkom fault... i do download torrents sometimes and PS games, but the speed are great...

I'm actually not aiming that comment at anyone specific :)...

Just getting it in before the general complaining actually starts.

Indeed, I can concur. The speeds lately have been superb. Hope it can stay that way. ;)

Performance-wise I can't complain, except for Sunday's issues, but that was down to IS.

I'll be honest here, we cannot keep it unshaped if we drop pricing on the product. So we're running models and various calculations behind the scenes for this one as it's a little more complex in terms of keeping everyone happy...
