So, as of 14th Feb. - Crystalweb leased me with the new IP address which references to EvoNet ISP.
Previously I had an Internet Solutions IP and underlay internet service that was quite good with regards to download/upload speeds and latency.

We are yet to see if this is an upgrade or downgrade from the service continuity perspective.

One irritating things is : the ISP just goes and makes a change without notification or at least an email. I have many services running at home that are based on the fixed IP.

I will be testing it regularly till month end and decide if I'm staying with crystalweb (that I was always praying) based on the tests and service quality.

Stay tuned...

As expected - international speeds dropped horribly. Clearly highly contended service. I am paying for 20/20 service. Realistically, I am not expecting those bandwidths internationally, but at least 50% of it.
Latency is expected due to the physical distance.

Will test a few more days, and if it stays like this, sadly part ways with crystalweb :(

You just published your IP. I'd delete that if I were you

If you're on Vumatel, there's issues with them at the moment. They're busy with emergency maintenance

Update in the morning

Vumatel was doing maintenance yesterday hence the slow response.

I gave it a test this morning:

So far so good...I will still be testing and advise

There will be some more work today. A faulty switch port has been identified and will be swapped out, from what I hear.
