Currency Convertor Widget

My default currency convertor widget in leopard is telling me that R1=$3.4

Is anyone else getting this oddity?
 
Have you tried removing it and adding it again? This also helps to refresh the exchange rate as the Mac will go online to get the updated info each time it is "spawned" onto the Dashboard.

Hope you get it fixed up!
 
Ya, didn't help. still getting the same problem. Not that Im complaining about $3 to the Rand :)
 
hmm... that's weird hey?

have you tried a new user account? repaired disk permissions or used applejack?

has it just started being weird or after any updates? are you on the latest updates?

if it's the unit converter widget, the file is only 772kb so that will be "emailable".
 
it seems to be a common problem... just saw a few people post about it on twitter (yes tau1z, t.w.i.t.t.e.r :p)

did the ppl on twitter have a solution? most likely not, since all twitter is, is a whiney status update utility to tell everyone just how much ur not doing....

I, however do have the solution, but ur gonna have to tell me twitter sucks before i reveal it...

just for the record.

5million people, from all walks of life, from all over the world, posting about everything and anything, all the time.

If you could see what people were posting about, then you'd basically be getting a pulse of the internet.

no, u would be getting the pulse of 5 million bored ppl, we truly know that the heart of the internet is porn and google the blood that flows through it.
