Cyberpunk 2077

Dunno if posted already but the nvidia gameready 460.79 drivers for cp2077 are out.

I see it made a noticeable difference for streamers today. Some had really choppy gameplay, many using 3070s, playing at 1080p with no ray tracing, and after the patch the game sort of came right. It is very hard to take self notice when watching a stream because of other factors.

Not sure if accurate, but just found this

'Consoles preload includes Day 0 update and game unlocks at midnight without additional downloads. On PC, at 1AM CET on GOG players will have to download a couple hundreds of mb, Steam/Epic is around 2-3 gigs.'

Odd when a 10GB patch was pushed a little more than 3 hours ago on GOG, unless Dohla presume that the preloader already downloaded the 'preload' patch.

I'll wait a bit and see what happens, this game seems pretty resource hungry. Hopefully hardware unboxed releases an optimisation guide soon.

I'll update drivers so long...

Yeah though they all said the prologue of the game is around 5 or 6 hours (part of the 20 hour main quest) which would be different for each of the 3 starting characters. So if you play another character, a large part of the game will be completely new.

Sort of how Dragon Age Origins has 6 different prologues, one for each race/class type. Just a lot meatier.
So it's basically confirmed that the prologue is about an hour so your 6 hours is a massive exaggeration

Any opinions so far? I won't get to play until later today :( I see the steam discussions are looking a bit rough.

I managed to send a WhatsApp with a 19hr uncapped rain sim let’s see if it can download Cyberpunk before 2077
