Not picking it up now. Got too much work for my last week of work. It'll still be there (and maybe even more patched) by next week. So yeah, this will be my Christmas present to myself, if you all have positive reviews of it.

Good news, pre-loaders only have a 10GB patch, and it is available now.
GOG did give a warning:
"This is NOT the final build, though. Let's wait for Dec 10, 1 AM CET"

Surely I want to let the PC sleep when it is not needed.
Tonight I don't want it to sleep so I'll run a torrent. Much easier than fiddling with Power options.
It would take about 15-30 seconds to change your basic power settings.

My preload is currently at 57.3GB. Hour and a half to go.

There is an update queued on Steam's CP2077 pre-load at the moment, but it cannot be downloaded at this time.
EDIT: Checked now it is the decryption update, the Steam downloaded is in an encrypted cache.
Also see that some Steam peeps are upset that GOG is getting a pre-load update. CDPR isn't saying anything on Steam. Jumping the starting pistol is where many people are at...

Can confirm that my Steam copy has not updated since the initial pre-load.
An update is queued under downloads but that is par for the course for a pre-load. Could be anything from a few hundred kb's to a couple of gb's @ 2am.

For a paltry 10gb? Even if not on a decent fibre connection that is such a minimal wait.
