Cyberpunk 2077

but its easy enough to do? no editing of .INI files or something like that?
I mean it isnt like some games that throw you straight into a mission from the get go.
and disable the esc/pause keys so you cant actually adjust anything.
Nope, normal game, access to the menu from the outset.

Just hop into settings and fiddle to your heart's content.

Only thing I don't like about their settings menu is that it does not show how much VRAM you are utilizing.
It is so much easier to tweak your experience with that information.

going to have my second monitor show my GPU stats while I run it,
will also monitor temps ect to see I'm not melting my ancient system with it.
good thing I got my fan controller working, will come in handy now.
Issue I have is not with monitoring.

Red dead 2 for example shows you exactly how much VRAM you are using and it adjusts as you adjust the settings.

That way you can see which settings reduces the GPU load and therefore increase frames.
Since my GPU is my bottleneck the VRAM information would've been great.

so you think it might come out later with that as a update?
as it seems quite useful, remember seeing that in GTA that had it.

All that will do is reduce performance.

if things get too hot the PC will reduce performance to keep temps in line.

It's a heavy game, but it's not about to break your PC. Just possibly won't run properly. Adding monitoring software to the mix will do nothing besides reduce your performance.

I'm talking about the built in AMD one that shows up when you go to that tab,
even possible to put it as a header on top of the screen. not going to use MSI afterburner or speedfan (as much as I want to)

have a second monitor plugged in, and as obviously cyberpunk isn't a dual screen game (what is?)

going to use it like that. Hopefully shouldn't affect the performance too much,
at least initially, until I see what I get on it, if its Crysis levels of performance or not really.

Sooooo much. So many squished pedestrians/cops/scenery

Still loving the haxor skills but getting melted so may need to invest some effort in protection.

Crafting is OK.... I suspect I'm missing something there...

Driving became better once I started to understand the different type of vehicles. I just under the opinion that like the weapons the vehicles needs rebalancing. At the moment I prefer pick-ups and motorcycles.

I don't know how some people aren't experiencing bugs... I have seen some bizarre schit in the game with around 13 hours into it. I am not going into detail here.

Other than the rebalancing which needs to be done, they also need to rework police awareness and the wanted system. I have triggered police response in normal missions... I have had beat cops walk into normal gun battles not giving a single toss until they deem you as a viable target. Police in this game IMO is broke.

My playstyle at the moment is a mixture of melee and gunslinging. I dropped stealth now almost entirely except when it applies to the mission. The game is simply too hard in places to be stealthy. It took me close to an hour to clean one place out last night. Rule #1 Use your grenades!!! Rule #2 Use grenades with slow-mo and shoot them when in the enemy's proximity!!! Rule #3 Be John Wick!!!!

Ironically, the above rules totally apply to Watch Dogs 1.

I am still at 1% progression, side missions and gigs are eating up my playtime. Already done 2 boss battles as well.

I have found a sniper rifle which seems to split people in half, very satisfying at close range as well, shotgun is meh now.

why not cave?
we've all had one hell of a tough year, maybe its worth it, seeing how anticipated it was.

I'm actually not buying now purely because I have such a backlog of amazing games to get to first. I'll likely buy by mid next year at the latest.
