Cyberpunk 2077

I haven't encountered a single bug yet. Or at least if I have, I haven't noticed it.

The only thing is occasionally there'll be a an item on the floor which I can't pick up. I think they could improve detection of when you're aiming at something to pick up. Occasionally I'll be looking at a gun for example and can't pick it up, but then if I approach from a different angle I can. Not a big thing, but technically a bug I suppose.

@Hellhound105 , corpo rat life path?
love it, going to do the same eventually when my ancient connection gets it.

Yea there's low, medium, high, ultra and then there's granularity as well. So you could adjust to medium and then drop a couple things back or whatever you need to do to get good FPS.

The new drivers do make a difference to performance so make sure you have the latest ones.

Thanks for the tip, loaded latest AMD drivers yesterday in anticipation.

but anything game killing so far, anything that makes the game crash so far?
as your about to start a mission/quest, thrown back to the desktop.

or nothing at this stage yet?

Nothing game-breaking or even mildly irritating yet. I know people have been having issues but I haven't encountered anything. Perhaps I just got lucky so far.

Oh actually, it fails to sync my saves to the cloud. Doesn't affect the game but it is a weird one.

When you start, remove that k@k called film grain and cascade shadow resolution.

That's what demos are for. Really would you trust a movie review without seeing a trailer of the film? Many people use pirated versions as a demo and then buy it later.

Demos will rarely tell you if the game is a buggy mess. It's usually the first couple hours of the game which has received the most polish and attention from the developers.

minor annoyance, but I suppose livable.

how long do you reckon it will take to finish the game at the current difficulty level?
No idea, I have no clue how long the main story is. But I got 8 hours in last night and I didn't do many missions really. That's one of the joys, much like The Witcher 3, you just do what you want to. Missions, rondfok, be a vigilante, help the cops, kill pedestrians, run around finding loot, buy clothes, craft stuff, upgrade weapons, sell weapons, dismantle weapons, clothes...whatever you like.

One tip for the new players:
If you pick up rare/epic items and aren't going to use them, dismantle them. You get rare/epic upgrade components which you need to upgrade to higher levels of gear.

Also, the katana is the most fun you can have with your clothes on.

going to hold you to that, love slicing and dicing.
especially with a futuristic Katana.

thanks for the tip, are Epic/rare items easily identifiable?
so you'd know to dismantle them, or sell them ect?
Yea all items are colour coded.

White = common
Green = uncommon
Blue = Rare
Purple = Epic
Gold/Orange = Legendary

So you can either dismantle or sell items. Depends if you need cash or if you want to craft things. Again, depends how you want to play the game.

You're going to have to play the game my dude :)

Half the fun is discovering what's possible.

will do, just wanted a heads up to potential problems before I run into them.

I'm still praying to the Silicon gods to let me run it on an i3 with a Radeon 460.
hopefully I can make it or i'll be quite disappointed,

You're going to have to go 1080p low everything for that to work anywhere near playable I think.

but its easy enough to do? no editing of .INI files or something like that?
I mean it isnt like some games that throw you straight into a mission from the get go.
and disable the esc/pause keys so you cant actually adjust anything.
