Cyberpunk 2077

I guess CDPR is cleaning up the in-game nudity,

V appears more modest in the inventory preview after the half year montage ;)

The only two places where you can view your model nude, showing genitals, in any case, is in the inventory and model creator so why are genitals a creation option in the model creator? Not that it matters, but I am curious as to why since having your genitals show was used in marketing, the media couldn't shut up about it and it was all channelled through PR (and hype).

PC-specific
* [AMD SMT] Optimized default core/thread utilization for 4-core and 6-core AMD Ryzen(tm) processors. 8-core, 12-core and 16-core processors remain unchanged and behaving as intended. This change was implemented in cooperation with AMD and based on tests on both sides indicating that performance improvement occurs only on CPUs with 6 cores and less.
* Fixed an issue with the way Raw Input is collected.
* Removed the use of AVX instruction set thus fixing crashes occurring at the end of the Prologue on processors not supporting AVX.
* Removed debug console to prevent functions that could lead to crashes or blocked quests. This doesn't mean we don't want to support the modding community. Stay tuned for more info on that.
* Ray traced reflections should no longer seem too bright in comparison to the environment.
* Fixed an issue with Steam Overlay crash on game shutdown.
* Removed the memory_pool_budgets.csv file. which was not connected with the final version of the game and had no influence on it (it was a leftover file used during the development to estimate memory usage. It had no effect on how much memory was actually allocated). Perceived performance increase after editing the file may have been related to restarting the game.

I must say I never experienced a game crash, not a single time in my 92 hours spent throughout my gameplay, but the game application didn't always terminate once I existed the game which I had to manually execute.

I cannot remember now, didn't the home brew Intel patch use memory_pool_budgets.csv to mod resource allocations, so it was a placebo then?

I am still in the opinion, that should there be one promise to break it must be the promise they made with including multiplayer somewhere down the line. Multiplayer is going to be a schitshow, probably worse than Fallout 76.

You can catch a glimpse of yourself in some scenes. eg. Here:

I quickly tested the new patch, and the side gigs which are broken in my game which I can replay is still broken on completion... Yes, these gigs weren't in the patch notes, but I had to go have a look whether these corrections also applied elsewhere.

Maybe your save is bugged, can you start a fresh game and test? Or is that out of the question?

I have already completed the game, 100% completion, the exception being the bugged side-quests. It would be absolute ludicrous to restart to check out whether those gigs work in a new game. The best I can do is to wait on a patch which may resolve the issues within a current save or to wait on a new game+ mode and or new game content to start a new game and then to explore the state in which the game is in at that time.

Do note that I have directly engaged with CDPR, and that is as much as I will say. What I will say is that CDPR isn't very transparent whether the game will have a new game+ mode though it has been previously mentioned, so my best guess is that new game+ mode will be introduced via a 'gratis' DLC drop as they did with The Witcher 3. In my view, game+ modes should be the norm today.

The game was worth the AAA price, but released too early. Just how I view it at the moment, and that CDPR must publicly cut back on promises they made because they did go about this like Sean Murray did with No Man's Sky, and unlike No Man's Sky I don't think CDPR can live up to their promises. EA/Bioware promised to make right with those who purchased Anthem, and they admitted the only way to remedy their game is to disassemble and reassemble their game, but as things are going now I doubt I will ever see an Anthem 2.0 which is another empty promise in gaming today. CDPR can still iron out bugs in CP2077, make the game more compatible, but many promises which was made will only be seen in a new Cyberpunk game. DLC won't improve how their world behave, it would be best to tell more stories than to reinvent their wheel.

What area has bugged side 'quests'?

I had an issue in the badlands where the satellite car wouldn't register as parked in the garage.
Reloading the autosave and trying again fixed it.

I've probably done just over half of all the fixer jobs and although they are very buggy, I haven't encountered one that registered as not completed

Just take under consideration that I have started playing this game on day 1, meaning that my game have been patched. From my own gathering and looking at other similar complaints it does seem that there are mission trigger bugs which can happen in any game in any area. The audio issue I experienced also seem to be game instance dependant and there is a detailed thread about it on CDPR's own website. In my own game I had 5 bugged gigs in Watson and only 1 bugged gig in Heywood. As listed:

Heywood:

- Hot Merchandise

Watson:

- Rite of Passage
- Lousy Kleppers
- Catch a Tyger’s Toe
- Last Login
- Hippocratic Oath

From the Going-Away gig where you need to rescue Flavio, even on completion, Flavio decided to become my permanent companion. He has been with me since my ~40h mark into CP2077. He may or may not pitch up in main missions and when he does the main mission is completely broken with all enemies turned green. You cannot kill and you cannot quickhack. Restarting the mission may or may not resolve this bug pending on whether Flavio decides to come along or stay somewhere only he knows where. As I said I did complete the game so this was more a nuisance, a terrible nuisance, but yeah, I have a sidekick in my game who is like Doom Guy, bleeding with no words buying his time to go to Mars.

I could live with Falvio, simply because I accepted the state in which the game is in and I said that I will play through this game, but the bug which really bugged me into really disliking my playthrough was when I discovered that my stash disappeared. I was pissed.

Being able to complete every side gig will take you to lvl 50, you can reach street cred 50 quite soon to be honest and maybe too soon. I ended my game at lvl 49. The side missions/gigs and NCPD missions are the money and levelling grind, and can also provide you with some legendary equipment. Being able to complete all these will also enable you to purchase every vehicle in game, as well as obtaining the best cyberware. I was able to purchase everything except one vehicle, being able to complete all the above mentioned gigs would have made it possible without breaking a sweat and then more some.

In the end game money isn't an issue in this game, there are areas where you can loot gear priced ~€$1000 and you grind it quickly as crime areas in CP2077 isn't random it is like a pattern and it always plays out the same.

What really needs to be corrected in this game is the balancing. This game is unbalanced AF, but I don't think playing on easy or normal will realise it.

Anyone with Intel CPUs have a worse experience since the last patch? Been playing an hour or so, but since the patch my game looks like it look like on the PS4... Not good.

I guess CDPR is cleaning up the in-game nudity,
What nudity?
Apart from my characters penis, after nearly 50 hours I have not seen any nudity at all.
Even in strip clubs, the strippers are either fully clothed or have band aids over their nipples.

This is with the nudity censor off.

For a city obsessed with sex they are very prudish.

That's weird man.
I also started on day 1 and all my Watson gigs are done, no issues with any of them.

Ironically, I have this Steam Achievement unlocked:

It's Elementary

Complete all gigs and NCPD Scanner Hustles in Watson.

But I don't have this Steam Achievement unlocked:

Little Tokyo

Complete all gigs and NCPD Scanner Hustles in Westbrook.
