Cyberpunk 2077

Looks good, but I hope they have completed Night City since it seems that whole new areas are being explored, which is good and all, but see how much the modders have patched back into Night City then I would appreciate CDPR to make good by that too.

Lol,

I am a person who will take quality over quantity, but I think that Radek brought upon a correction about how expansive the expansion will be. Not that it is a problem, but I don't think that the added gameplay hours will exceed the Witcher 3's side story expansions in playtime. Without side content, The Witcher 3's 1st story DLC added ~10 hours and the 2nd story DLC added ~15 hours.

So, I expect Phantom Liberty to be 10 hours or less. As long as it adds replayability, hence make additions, to the main game I won't complain. The question is, how much will it cost? Now with $70 price tags, I won't be surprised to see expansion DLC cost up to $50, however this game launched at $60 and the game haven't been priced reduced other than when it is on promotion. I guess $25 at most, but some speculate that it will cost $10-$20.

Can't wait to jump back into Cyberpunk 2077. I assume this isn't coming out any time too soon if they're only saying '2023' as a release date.

I wasn't happy with Baldurs Gate 3 over the weekend
Cost me R799
So I asked for a refund
Have the R799 in my Steam Wallet
Will wait for Cyberpunk to drop from R799 to R499
Ive seen it that low twice before
I did play a 'shareware' version when it came out.
Loved it
But now on my gaming rig everything is legit, I don't want 'shareware' and 'freeware' stuff on it.

Anyone else having an issue downloading the latest patch? I had issues downloading it via GOG (whatever older version I had) then I uninstalled and installed GOG 2.0, still having issues, the download gets stuck at 21.9%.

At a glance when I looked, the offline files don't seem to be available yet to download via one's browser.

Is that patch 1.7 you downloading or?
I think so whatever the latest version is? They don't seem to be all that good in terms of specifics or details, I am not on my gaming PC right now, will try check later to see what other info is displayed.

Edit: I wasn't looking properly and was only seeing the latest hotfix announcement.

I am sure that the game will be super discounted when the DLC drops. In December its complete edition would be as cheap as chips.

Hey, what do you guys think are the chance of those that kept their copies of Cyberpunk 2077 getting a discount on the expansion?

Excellent, not in a rush so can wait until end of the year
Yeah its in my Wishlist, thats how I see it dropped every now and again
Steam emails me

I am unable to say, but Steam has hosted such discounts though it is up to the publisher. I haven't seen such mechanisms in GOG and in Epic. Don't bargain on such a limited discount; it is rare.

The chances are good that when the DLC drops that the main game might be discounted more than the 50% rate CDPR has on its title. Anywhere between 60-75% discount is on the cards. Could they introduce an additional discount on a bundle, main game + DLC, sure, and that is the mechanism in which most people will pay cheaper. I can't say. For all I know CDPR increases the price to get with the times, but the consumers won't like that.

You can get links from cs.rin.ru for clean insaneramirez files.

Ok thanks for the help guys, I was being a bit doff and not looking properly (load shedding means always having to rush before lights out).

I see now it must be trying to download 1.62 via GOG Galaxy, I've cancelled the failed download as it was just perpetually stuck.

The offline backup files are on gog.com if one just clicks on the Game in question. It looks like the full download for 1.62 is just over 110GB (27 files of 4GB each and then a handful of smaller files).

I'm currently on 1.61 and I would assume that the 1.62 patch is not worthwhile for most of us mere mortals as they recommend a 4070Ti or higher for this Ray Tracing Overdrive Mode.

1.62 updated via GOG Galaxy behind the scenes over the last 24 hours perhaps, I didn't even know I had it running.
