So... that Immerse Gamepack. It is not bad. It is better than any other 3D virtualisation, both Dolby and DTS have no touch on it. It is worth trying out, 15-day trial. You need headphones or a headset and a webcam. I don't like the Sonar (it is an on-display hit marker) implementation, but you may disable it. This was without a doubt long in development with the CDPR team, it is detailed to everything.
You like it, it is on sale, still a bit too expensive IMHO. Is it worth it? Eh... DTS is also on sale, and it is better than Dolby in Cyberpunk. I think it is R160-something (on sale) and you can use it in any game. Immerse is a subscription service, but does have three standalone game packs.
You really need to love your audio accuracy to appreciate a 3D audio virtualise game pack priced near R300 (on sale). There is Sonic, but in my experience Dolby is a way better implementation and audio enhancer than Sonic. Sonic is included with Windows, Dolby is R200. Then there is also Steelseries's Sonar, and it is good, and has equalisation, and everything a gamer ever needs. I don't know about the Razer and Corsair/Elgato tools.
Three years ago I gave Waves a try, and that was good, but I didn't have the proper head tracking equipment to get any returns on the implementation.
Anyhow. Just wanted to say that the Immerse Gamepack is a unique experience. Makes Sonic look like a hedgehog. Makes Dolby sound sad. Give DTS an IQ. Turns Sonar into an dumb equaliser. Just relevant to this game though, which is paid, unless you subscribe. It is a remarkable experience nonetheless. Who would have thought that stereo cans could do this? This said, they cater to almost every headphone/headset there is.
