Cyberpunk 2077

Just started this game.
Xbox.

The first person shooting feels very clumsy and awkward. Almost sluggish.
I remember seeing reviews and gaming sites back then it launched giving tips on the controller settings.
Any tips?

Depends on your build as well I guess, in the beginning guns did suck but it got better.

It gets better as you level up. The mechanics and UI feels weird on console at first but it's fine as you get used to it...

I don't have Phantom Liberty but on GOG this was a 1.45GB patch for me. I saw mention that this was a 5GB patch but perhaps that if one has PL.

edit:

Get Phantom liberty:)
The problem is that I bought Cyberpunk on GOG which is priced in USD, so phantom liberty is still $30 on there, meanwhile I only paid about $15 for the base game. It's going to take a damn long time for PL to be nicely discounted. Let me finish the base game first and see how I feel after that

Ouch I see so :(

I see they added AMD FSR 3 support.

Patch 2.13 also includes other enhancements, such as stability improvements, support for Intel Xe Super Sampling 1.3, and the ability to enable both DLAA and DLSS Ray Reconstruction simultaneously. The settings for HDD Mode, Hybrid CPU Utilization, and AMD Simultaneous Multithreading have been relocated to a new "Utilities" tab within the game's settings menu

Some users are reporting that FSR 3 looks real bad in Cyberpunk 2077. For those who like image quality, and have a AMD GPU it seems better to use XeSS. Others are happy that they can now use Ray Tracing with FSR 3.

Perhaps it is a bug. Don't know.

If you use a frame gen mod it allows you to use DLSS or XeSS for the upscaling and use the FSR Frame Generation separately.

They just did a bad lazy implementation, FSR 3.0 instead of 3.1 and not separating the frame gen from the upscaling.

I am actually surprised by how the public is responding to it. It does seem that Americans want the game to be more American. The part which surprised me is how opposed some are to the Japanese themes in the game.

You have Japanese cyberpunk, and you do have Western cyberpunk, but Cyberpunk (RED) 2077 is not New Wave.

I don't think that some people can read the theme, but wants more current, and real, themes incorporated.

Mike Pondsmith was inspired by Japanese anime when he created his American styled cyberpunk universe. He had a whole talk on that some years ago. He even claims that San Paulo is the truest to real cyberpunk city on Earth. Second on that list he has Tokyo.

You can read on how he incorporated that into LA (Night City) America in "his" cyberpunk verse. Obviously, when people create a cyberpunk world, which is not real, they will take inspiration elsewhere, and allover, and combine it best to move world-building.

I understand what is said in the interview, only puzzled by some responding to it. In a cyberpunk world, what is law, what is a standard? Anyhow. Just interesting.
Some of those areas I walked through in Night city gave me Thailand vibes.

Just bought Phantom liberty for R399.

Will give it a play next week.

The original game is R449

R697 for both
Had PL sitting there for a while. Busy with a full playthrough and going to give PL a go before meeting Hanako at Embers, to get the best experience out of it...
