Cyberpunk 2077

But I will put this out there. This has been the best game I have ever played.
It's definitely among my best ever - along with the Mass Effect and Uncharted series'.

Reviews for the DLC have been sterling. Can't wait to get back into this. Playing other stuff at the moment and saving this for my December break...

It's def in my top 5. Incredible game but not quite the best ever for me. GTA is still the best GTA-style game imo.

But I think CDPR will one day make the best game I've ever played. Maybe Witcher, maybe another Cyberpunk or something else, they're on the right track.

I'm about 41h in already and also loving it - the world they built is absolutely fantastic. My only real complaint so far is why the F do they limit you to one respec per save? Very un-cyberpunk like if you ask me.

Yeah they made a few stupid choices with update 2 and I also don't know what they were thinking. Still pissed about them gutting Netrunner builds. Whole playstyle ruined.

As for how good it is now yeah I would rate it right up there among the best but Witcher 3 still holds top spot for me. Baldur's Gate 3 set the bar extremely high going forward though and that game deserves all the praise it got. Cyberpunk is unique however. It's not something you'll easily forget. Modern, gritty, dark and good RPG mechanics -

Now for the endings? Well you can get all of them in the main game, they loop forever. One just requires specific choices in a specific conversation. The DLC requires strategic save backups and you'll have to decide on one iot to progress and I highly recommend it as they are all extremely good.

Anybody else got the new ending they added with Phantom Liberty?

Man, it hits hard and it should be the only ending to the game, instead of the 'choose your own adventure' endings they gave before DLC

For me it was a way better way of ending the story and it hits emotionally on several levels.
Fantastically done

Big news… Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition arrives on December 5th in digital AND physical form for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC!

I am curious what it will include since it can already be purchased as a bundle? It is said to include all updates (duh), the game and Phantom Liberty. Some time ago with Phantom Liberty's release, CDPR said that an "GOTY" edition would include DLC drops which aren't included with the game, but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. The DLC drops were done in partnership with Amazon, so I doubt it will drop again.

There is nothing special about this Ultimate Edition other than a repackage.

I mean just look at this, it's like Blade Runner, plus this was taken on the Ally which was roughly the Series X, but not quite as good.

What are these game elements?

They will only tell us tomorrow. Anticipated though would mean that it is what players want. I mean, CDPR haven't really given what players want. Most gameplay improvements are those which were already made available through the modding community. I mean, they contracted modders themselves.

What is new in 2.1:

- Fully functional metro,
- Radioport,
- Replayable car races,
- Boss fight improvements,
- accessibility features,
- and more.

It appears that the boss update is only relevant to Adam Smasher... Yeah, he is a bit easy. The Sandevistan updates are those which were showcased in Edgerunners. More vehicles are to be added, including better handling. There are cheats that allow you to disable timers.

Just to add, there is a lot more to the update than mentioned in the article. Here is the Twitch broadcast:

There is a lot to like though.

Cyberpunk 2.1 features are INSANE, Finally adding HIGHLY REQUESTED features:

- Metro System finally fully working!
- New hangouts with romance characters
- Mobile Radio, Listen to music anywhere
- 5 new bikes and a new Porsche car!
- New bike gameplay, wheelies, flips, and knife throwing from your bike!
- Replayable Car Races and new rewards
- Gangs will now react to your choices and send hit squads after you if you go against them in gigs/quests
- Re-done and finished some previously unfinished roads and highways that lacked NPCs
- Car chases have been worked into old gigs to make them far more engaging
- New accessibility settings & HUD customization
- Releases December 5th

And there’s even more that they haven’t announced, an insane amount of effort has went into this update that wasn’t even planned initially, CDPR are INCREDIBLE.
